11/10 trip report lar bro! very detailed with pictures and definitely very informative.. will take some lessons from you for my trip this Dec.

 

November, December is best time to go there.. you will sure enjoy the place. and dont speed near Lampang ah..

Gentlemen, Hear Ye hear ye!!!! You have all done solo and so did I. Weird? No lar!! Imagine if you have 2 or 3 more following and all of a sudden you are behind and intend to stop to take photo then how? They will all go far ahead and u are left behind.

 

When I did the Cambodia, Laos, North Thailand trip, I had my wife with me and we did enjoy the rides as we can stop whenever we want and stay another day at a place if we want....

 

But, good to have kakis of the same threshole (the butts) so that all can be together always.

 

I will be doing another 12 days or so ride up during the CNY next year and still in the planning stage. Most probably will do Laos again.

 

Well done Kmax, well written report and I am sure all reading will gain from your experience.

 

Oh by the way at BKK....hahahha..was escorted by traffic police out of the highway and then pretend like sotong and just off and wave hand and say khor kun kap....

Thanks Uncle Barnes, yes, it's true that Own Time Own Target is freedom. but we are used to travel in groups, especially someone to talk to during long journeys, ofcuz you got ur wife.

 

may be next time, have to find "tour guide" from Thailand and bring her along the trip...

 

Thailand police seems like they are used to Singapore bikers zooming on Expressway.. haha..
