Hey guyz,

Would like to ask for feedback on those using the H&B Juniors 40 and Journey models.

1.) Can both models fit a Nolan full-face?

2.) Can both models fit a pair of rollerblades/pannier??

3.) Is there anymore space after putting in the helmets?

4.) Feedback on the bike's handling after installation?

5.) Would you reccomend a Journey (more $$) or a Junior 40?

6.) Where did u buy it from and price (box & rack)?

Thank you for ur precious feedbacks~ :thumb:

I am using Junior 40L side panniers and Junior 45L Topcase.

Topcase can put two full face without much problem. Side panniers can put one pair of roller skates without the brake, with brakes need a bit of adjusting...

The rack is using H&B as well.... very well made and stable...

It does makes the bike harder to move through traffic jam...

Tried the bike at 140kmh, still very stable and the panniers does cut wind quite well with slight drag...

Got the whole setup for 1.5K from the bike shop that i got the bike from. They got the H&B from agent...

:cheer:

From what i see those helmet with high "fins" may not fit in the the side pannier. My HJC FF got no issue.

1 side pannier can fit one pair of normal blades. Speed skates not too sure. Due to the shape of the pannier, it is a bit harder to fit in skate as compared with my previous Givi E36, which can fit two pairs of skates easily.

The junior topcase can fit two pair of skates with no issue.

But for build quality, H&B is much better. It's design also allow for things to be put in and the lid open without things falling off, which is a plus point...

hmmmz im still considering which to get.... Juniors 40 or Journey... tink Journey is more to the shape of E36....

but i prefer the shape... and structure of junior.. seems more solid den journey... and is much cheaper~

You can get it from M-Technic. Price abt $650 (side panniers)

Guess which word had this meaning.

1. Any code or set of principles containing different provisions for one group of people than for another, esp. an unwritten code of sexual behavior permitting men more freedom than women.

2. A set of principles permitting greater opportunity or liberty to one than to another, especially the granting of greater sexual freedom to men than to women.

3. A set of principles establishing different provisions for one group than another; also, specifically, allowing men more sexual freedom than women.

Does that price include the rack as well?

No. Price of rack depends on your bike model.

I was told from a Jonior owner that

1) The key from other Junior box can open his

2) The lock is easy to break open

3) He uses a padlock to secure the box after got broken into a few times.

This deterred me from getting the Junior but like the design though.

Rugged, looks expensive... and is expensive.

my friend bought a new givi top box, but he lost the key. now the box cannot be opened. the spare key is inside the box.

1.) Can both models fit a Nolan full-face?

Not sure but Arai OW and SZ-RamII can fit for the Juniore ach side pannier, so my guess Journey should have no problem.

2.) Can both models fit a pair of rollerblades/pannier??

No sure never own a rollerblade before.

3.) Is there anymore space after putting in the helmets?

Yes can still fit raincoat or canvas.

4.) Feedback on the bike's handling after installation?

Slight heaviness on the rear but its not a problem for Big touring bike. I ever rode with the pannier at 160Kmh and 170kmh but on a Fazer1000, my friend complain about the heaviness felt more at the back and when cornering he has to put more weight at the front end. May need to change the suspension settings.

5.) Would you reccomend a Journey (more $$) or a Junior 40?

If your budget persist, get the Journey. Looks good and if not mistaken the Journey is 45L while Junior is 40L only for the panniers at least. For the junior, the lock bracket will paint will peel off due to wear n tear.

6.) Where did u buy it from and price (box & rack)?

Biketech and M-Technik sells them and fix it for you.

BTW, i think M-tech sell the panniers at $650 without the rack. I bought might 3yrs back at $900++(with rack) that time Euro was still below 2.0 rates. The rack will cost around $350+-(depend on bike model)
