I would like to ask you all a question. Changing to a racing pipe for your street bike, you all really want to race in the street? Or join race with your beloved bike in cub race event?

Or simply like the sound of the racing pipe?

Or trying to get attention from other cub rider (of course not ROV attention lah).

So these are the question to consider before you get any legal or illegal racing pipe for your bike. Does it worth it?

loud pipe saves life mah... practice what they preach...

about speeds, 2 cents.

its fun to ride fast lah... essentially, speeding doesnt necessarily mean dangerous and riding / driving at slower speeds doesnt necessarily lower the danger level of being on the road...

too many restrictive cameras and stuffs on sg roads... i didnt read any statistics lah.. but last time boh mobile camera, also that number of people die annually... now got camera.. also that number of people die... whats the point?

i SO agree..

but however, wen amateurs see skilled riders ride fast, they get intimadated and try t race..this is wer the accident occurs..

Skilled riders usually dun do thier tricks on normal roads......They noe the limitation of the road. Skilled riders will noe how to overcome some problems on the road so dey can sumtimes avoid accidents from occuring.

Sumtimes....riders tink they are skill and tats why so many accidents occur, death toll oso rise.

Thats my tots......anitink nt ryt juz correct me yaitez.

Installing racing pipe need to do dyno run, recalibrate mixture setting then will make your bike powerful. But most important thing is that those straight through racing pipe will reduce your bike acceleration. Racing pipe are effective at high speed and engine at high rev. Weak low end but very strong high end power. The racing pipe may sounds to you that it is fast because it is loud, but if both bike side by side , one using mod pipe and the other stock pipe, you can see that the stock one accelerate faster than the mod one.

However when reaching high speed, the mod one will pull away from the stock one.

dont relly have to go dyno run la i tink.. jus do proper tuning n set up can already. tuning mostly for big bikes only..

that much said, running a 'acclaimed' racing pipe with the stock carb and stock air filter simply makes no sense as the gains in horsepower is probably 2hp at max.

it should be all 3 elements combined to give good power / speed improvement... about the dyno stuff... let me know when any of the cubs wanna go DYNO... cos i would love to take a vid and put on youtube... worth a laugh... :faint:

ya la thts y.. but if after dyno got difference, i wouldnt mind trying. but will be a waste of money. haha

dyno doesnt tweak anything do you know?

dyno runs are there to obtain information from your bike... after analysing the data then tweak the machine in the garage.. then re run the dyno again....

dyno runs do NOT make your bike a sweeter ride... :faint: :faint:

Precisely, er, no offence here.

Dyno orginated from track usage i believe. (correct me if i'm wrong)

Its to see through the statistics and analysing the data of ur bike,

then do the necessary tunnings and settings for your bike.

It doesn't make your bike move faster from a 110/125/135cc to like

class 2a kinda speed.

tats y..but SP is a fast bike also..

although noisy, they have recorded spped of up till 220
