i only tried it once. i dun wear it in sg. i bought it for long distance riding or touring purpose. personally i'll go for mesh jacket if riding in sg.

juz go for wat u want & u tink u can wear it while riding. dun let other ppl's decision affects u.

hi raj, if u read a few pages behind this, u can see my comments & info on the prices of helmets.

inner shape of the FF is very important after u shortlist a few FF dats within your budget. u can try regina for some AGV models. sadly speaking, i dun think there's any arai FF dats anywhere near your budget range...

its at kelantan lane, juz beside Berseh Food Centre, across the small road.

many riders have purchased their helmets from there. helmets with either PSB, ECE or DOT approved are all ok. still, u have to find a helmet dat suits the shape of your head.

Any bros around here, need some advice.

I am bout to go down to Regina maybe tomorrow or the day after to get a FF helmet.

Had been searching and looking around the web for a nice, good protection AGV helmet.

I had been hooked up on the looks of AGV K3, AGV Stealth and AGV S4

Need some advice on these 3 helmets.

In terms of material on the shell, which one have a better protection? Heard that K3 uses high resistant thermoplastic, and Stealth and S4 uses carbon glass or something like that. Whats the difference?

In terms of shape, design, i think there is no need to say as both look alike to me.

And most importantly, in terms of pricing. My budget is below $350.

May some kind bro give me some advice ;D

Im using the AGV S4 SV.

Not sure what are the differences in protection/performance based on the different materials used.

Weight wise, personally i find it lighter than the HJC CL-ST.

Ventilation wise is good.

I chose the S4 cos it comes with an internal sun-visor:

I got the S4 for $350 last year. Not sure if kena carrot, i didnt even bother to ask for cheaper really, cos i was too awe-struck with the sharp looks of the helmet.

Oh ya, maybe should tell u, its not PSB approved. Dun have the sticker. It doesnt use the normal double D retaining rings but uses a buckle:

Not really a big deal for me, but maybe its a consideration for u.

Even after shipping, conversion to SGD is under S$300. You guys should check it out...

Hi FloRider - what's the buddy offer? I haven't fully decided what to get yet but I'm inclined towards the HJC CL-ST from the advice in this thread. I went into that Motorsport TVC at the weekend, advice/service there was dreadful so will try Motorworld nr Eunos next.

Get 2 CL-ST for $200, 1 CL-ST for $150... I assume the promo is an on-going one...

Im prolly going there an earlier date to try on the helmet and see if my glasses fit...
