Back! Kevin is off in KL this week and then we'll try and plan it next week. We still have to sort out the exact weekend coz my, kev's and pauche's timing all clashes so far.

Pauche> Open water diving courses range in price from about $350-$450 all inclusive. Usually it's some theory, a few pool sessions (in Singapore) and then 4 dives over weekend at an island somewhere in Malaysia. You can do the dives out at Pulau Huntu althought the visibility sucks but it's considerably cheaper than taking the courses that do the dives at places like Tioman. There are HEAPS of dive schools in SG. I did my PADI cert back in 1999 or 2000. My gf is taking a course organized by her company gym. You can try Fisherman Scuba at 112 East Coast road. 6348-7172 or http://www.fishermanscuba.com

I'm actually thinking of buying a kup kia for this tour.

Does anyone know what kup is most suitable?

Most say the 4 stroke non EFI Wave...

Comments?

Rookie> Actually I did my Padi with ScubaCorner but I've dived with FishermanScuba before. The seem good, nice boat and a good setup at Tioman. I know him but not so well. One of my colleagues actually dives with them alot.
