i just came back frm ubin hunt for durian... hehe.. so bro, any catch?

Guys wow i didn't know theres such a thread LOL i used to go fishing a few years back on alternate weekends.

 

Due to some careless mistake my friend made he lost my rod and motor, i would consider myself a super noob to fishing and was wondering where can i get a good beginners rod. Well not so expensive la coz you know i'm still learning. Last time i bought my rod was at changi village for i tink 70+ ah.

 

Want to learn more on how to fish and stuff. Hope some1 can be my mentor :)

lol.. just go changi and buy one lor.. rod around $10-$xxx depends on qualities and length.. reel also around $2x-$xxx depending on your needs.. my set up also around $90... rod $4x for a 9ft and reel $5x for a normal shinoma.. :)

at ubi rd 4 or rd 3 i cant really remember, there got fishing shop... very cheap..i got my 12 feet rod over there for onli 20 bucks

yup correct.. the bridge is very prominent.. place is peaceful oso..

for $70 u can get a gd enuf rod.. i recommend shakespear, $50 n for reel shimano aernos 2500 or 3000.. dats wat im using.. changi prices are quite steep coz only got 2 or 3 shops so competition is high.. for ubi oso.. just dat ubi got alot offers.. best is go near beach road, near arab street there.. got arnd 7 shops..

no catch la.. must try live [rawn next time.. but i saw this uncle pulled up arnd 3-4 kg bass..

Hey guys,

 

Seen that you all have alot of fishing spots! hahah.

 

I love fishing too. Anyway if u all are keen, we can head down to senoko for KBL. My friend caught a 4kg KBL at senoko last wk.

But the place only can go at low tide and need a little bit of trespassing.
