oh i wouldn't worry about me being able to handle a cl2 machine.. ;)

and no, im not trying to sound yaya or macam-real or stuff like that, i've got off-the-record experience for quite a long time already. :D

then if you can pass class 2 then it shud be no problem... anyway dunno where else except singapore has 3 classes to pass. so if people else where can drive a litre bike after a year without dying, i don't see why we can't here. just percieved safety since it has always been like that. follow system blindly

i feel the 3 class thingy is gd for safety but troublesome.. i think if there is juz 1 class (like australia), more pple will die... rem how excited to chiong when u 1st get ur 2b bike? wat if its a class 2 u get... its will be dangerous cos u will be going much faster den u can handle.. juz pass class 2b time let u handle R1... can u imagine? so i think its a gd system by gov to protect bikers.. no pt conplaining.... australia got relatively clear road so its quite alright for them... anyone agree wif mi?

leo_rider, i afraid u have not really seen a real drag between a nc35 and a rs250... i have to dissapoint u... for 1km.. u might be able to be on par or even accelerate quicker then the rs250.. anything after that, i guess there will be a very serious problem even if it's a stock rs250.

yeah... and i'm a NC35 rider, our bikes aint that quick actually.. but it sure got a very good corner handling with the right setup, as well as the v4 config that helps in the accelerating out of corners. utilise it. :)

i think its very hard to confirm the top speed as even if its the same bike, the top speed might vary. A good rs250 can hit 230 and a good rvf can hit 240, but i got friend's rvf can only hit 210 and rs250 that can only hit 200. Therefore its very hard to compare

April 2004 - June 2005 : Honda NSR150SP

June 2005 - August 2006 : Honda RVF400 NC35

August 2006 - Present : Yamaha YZF-R1

Top speed 280 also no use...

It's how fast the bike is able to attain its top speed...

I maybe riding a CBR400 but if I can reach my max in e.g 8 seconds compared to another 2A sportsbike which hit its limit in 12 seconds, I'm quite well far ahead of him....Unless both bike's limit is of great difference, I don't see the former catching up.

Btw, ride so fast for what? :D
