okie will check and let u know. but will take some time coz my bike in pg. my next step is change tyres then see how with the current setting. if cannot then change to stock then experiment again.

Nope bro not at PG... My tires are out as well I thought of changing skali i realised my road tax is expiring, and I'll need renew my insurance in order to renew the road tax

 

i'm using dragon SCs from a M'sian rider in Sepang. these MSS guys race very seriously; 1 set for qualifying, 1 or 2 set for the races. he was kind enough to give his qualifying tyres which were barely used. but 2 sessions in PG and the front is destroyed.

yup, exactly. respect shud be given to all. Relax bro, think that's life. Cos even we getting older there's always new generation of bikers starting...a life cycle...so there can never be a stop to meeting an arse on the road. Sumtimes even if we want to advise them also, we are nobody to them, so who'd listen. but i like what u said la...hahaha...quite funny actually.

izzt. but they have one riding habit that i dun like. they have the "riding pack" syndrome. when they are riding alone they like to find another rider to "attach" to i.e. ride very close to another rider even if he dunno the rider. i still have no idea why they like to do that. scared cold?

yeah ...i told what i have experienced my self....have bad experience with 2 same year bike its not a unlucky, something not right with the bike...people that didnt believe me can search and read about 07/08 at R1 forum, i dont need people trust me if they cant...

The TPS problem does not affect every single bike. Some bikes of that year didn't encounter the issue.

 

See your luck. If you get the problem, then you get it. Pot luck.

 

But there are enough cases such that Yamaha acknowledged that there was a problem with the TPS for that model. And that's that.

R1 sold a couple of years back. Now on an FZ1 instead. Same engine, diff bike.

 

Yes... if I had the extra cash, I wouldn't mind trying an 09'R1. Maybe it's time to start buying all those rock-bottom shares like OCBC, ST and DBS and hope it rises mid-yr.

Hi all,

 

My bike was stolen on the 30th OCT 08 at the premises of johor bahru Danga Bay at around 3pm.

Went for refuelling,stop by there for a quick lunch.Parked in front of a shop(secret recipe) 10-15 metres away.handled-locked,and was in gear when i parked.

Bike was in a noticeable view until i was paying the bills at the counter.

Went i went out of the shop.It dissappeared,the thing happen so fast in within 5-10 mins when i lost sight of it while paying the bills.

Asked the ppl around there but none seem cooperative enough to give me any information.all they did was shoke their heads.

went to Danga Bay Security for help.All they could tell me is they saw nothing and said to me in malay "lost means lost,no hope"

Have to make a police report at Tampoi poice station,then to Johor central.

 

pls help look out for my bike.if anyone have any information.

have a number 74 sticker (yellow color)at right side of head fairing

have arrow stiker at right and left tail

tyres are fitted pilot road 2ct

motivation sliders on the side frame,fork and rear.

fitted with 1 seater.

on the tank/fuel cap there is keihin gsxr blue flame color protecter.

stickers also can be found on the mudguard.

if u look carefully at the fairing,right side is in original state,left side is resprayed.

the R(in red)GSX(in silver)words are in different red color tone.

on the tank there is a small chip off of paint(dropped my keys on it) noticeable at near the fuel cap area.

there are also a few deep scratches on the right end of the mirror/throttle balancer due to accident

Wa....split sec and the bike is gone...haiz...your bike wat party insurance??made a report in sg already??check with the insurance company see if able to do anything or not loh...haiz...
