Not 3rd bike. jus trying to change the x1r for another better commuting bike. erm phantom 150....2 stroke:(

 

Keep the X1R. Save cash hor. Economy bad don't throw $$ away blindly. :D

 

Gilera runner also not say fast bike hor. Accelerate faster than your X1R maybe, but top speed still limited. Anyway, why you want such a fast kah tak bike for? It's only a 180 or 200cc 4-stroke anyway.

 

 

U got to experience how it feels when u can only maintain 85kmh on the highways.

yes, it can hit 100, but engine sounds like gg to explode anytime n bike is wobbling like a jelly at this speed.

Trust me I know. My TA150 has a bad conrod and piston. It can only hit 90kph before the vibrations set in. Engine gonna blow. Only 4 months left on COE anyway before I scrap it.

 

Anyway, choose wisely. Avoid unreliable, high-maintenance bikes.

yes, it can hit 100, but engine sounds like gg to explode anytime n bike is wobbling like a jelly at this speed.

 

from my personal own experience, its best to get a bike that saves petrol and maintenance is cheap when u are talking about pure transport. heck care the wobbling or no power thing. if not u will end up wasting hundreds or even thousand repairing the bike so call meant for transport and ended up frustrated and poorer :sian:

Accident. Bike ran over a big rock in the middle of my lane. Lost control, tank slapped and got thrown off. Bike went up the kerb and landed on the left side. Fairings broken, front rim dented, forks bent, headlights bracket and engine cover cracked and sidestand can't be kicked up. Bike will only be ready 3 weeks after Chinese New Year... :cry:

These days, the condition of SG roads are appalling ...

 

1) Perpetual road works (digging + filling back unevenly),

 

2) Bloody loaded construction trucks taking corners daily at high speed and spilling gravel + wet cement on the tarmac,

 

Is this how LTA is spending our road tax money?

wad happens when u dont hv ABS.

 

highly doubt ABS can save the day. U r on 2 wheels, not 4. ABS on a car and abs on a bike works the same but behaves differently.

wah sorry to hear that. But as what tyrael said, it is bad enough to see heavy trucks going beyond their speed ... much less rocks or debris in the middle of the road :nono:
