i asked KNT he qoute mi 380 for timing chain tension ,valve clearance lo..

yes .. change a new tension and chain.. opening the top part of the Efi thing i suppose.. fallout where u do ur servicing y $1200?

 

as for me i always go around and ask for pricing like from friends or people here be4 i go for anything major~

 

ps:heard the timing chain is auto adjustment until the lifespan of the chain reached it's limit

 

Yes. Pls note that timing chain and tensioner cannot be serviced. They have to be replaced when found to be worn or defective.

i am looking for the particular part of the engine with the serial number, think is called the engine chassis for r1 04, anywhere to get it? or should i say who have a spare engine for r1 04? i only need the part that have the serial number on it.

OI SIMI?!!! ok wat do servicing timing chain tensioner and valve clearance for a big discount at $1200 very the cheap in singapore and even a free glamour video at youtube:thumb:

Hey, I did my servicing for 1.2k too, but its at Planet. Changed timing chain, tensioner, valve guide and removed the valves and cleared the carbon from the valve, seat and piston head.

 

Now I regret not having changed the piston ring at the same time.

Just take that as an expensive lesson learnt. Next time you wanna go for servicing or overhauling or whatever, come in here and ask around first, aites? But seriously, better check the inside of your bike, who knows got one brand new PC5 or something fixed in secretly...

When Idling, pull in your clutch. If sound goes away, just a loose clutch basket/housing.
