I dun tink tats such a gud idea Bro. Personal experience, even the "Better" M3 Tyres dun seems 2 hold out tat long. A normal 3-4 Laps Max at PG the tyres starting 2 lose grip oredi. Can't really go for long laps, & wen it starts 2 lose grip, U'll feel loss of confidence as well

Unless U're planning 2 go for Small & Slow Laps juz 2 get a feel, then i guess it should b ok. Juz b carefull nt 2 push over the limits

Been hearing tat one for Donkey Years liao. But till nw still nuting has been done yet :dozed:

Maybe, juz maybe... If still nuting iz being done, We Singaporeans Bikerz should go on a Strike until they redo up the Circuit, coz the Circuit really is getting pretty $hitty... Bad >>> Worse & still counting

wah you a lot of money hor..okay first i need to stress that 'Hi-com' and 'Cams' are 2 different. 'Hi-com' is high compression gasket. And 'Cams' are normally short form for 'Racing Cams'. For me of course, since I had my full system, pc & hi-com, it is already good enough. But if you still find the bike 'bo power', you can:

-) go for the ignition module & retune after which your bike sure powderful (but be prepared to get 120-150km on the full tank) but even for this case, top Dynojet tuners will tell you that, they can only tune to give you either a pick-up or mid-range setting. And no, you cannot have the best of both worlds, which is why I recommend the sprocket change in the first place. If you really want to level things up, then change your gear ratio like what they do in WSB

or

-) go for the Yoshimura Race Cams (inlet & exhaust, cotter pins, etc ...i should have a 2nd hand one drop me a PM for more info) which is almost good as the maximum you can go with the bike

or

-) try make your bike lighter,,, marchesini rims, 520 conversion, carbon race fairings, etc etc

Wa.. Big project of the year... haha....

Sorry to trouble you mates~

Was riding my new k9 600 through a packed up traffic and the bike grew hot.

It was around 105C-110C stated on the coolant temperature indicator.

Suddenly i notice a red light blinking below the speed indicator and the coolant temp indicator was shown switching between the word 'sd' and the temp.

Stopped at the road side with engine switched off for above 15min. started back the bike and it stops blinking and showing the 'sd' word.

anyone knows why? what should i do or is it normal?

think sd is the fault indicator for steering damper bro. go to agent and have it check. electronic damper sucks. u wudnt want it to work against u.

sd maybe what rose said, steering damper, as for temp, stock coolant always sucks, so change coolant!

Relax!

oO..Lower mileage than my k7...

It's shorter, lower but definitely more stable thru corners than the k4/5 600 era..I was previously riding a K4 600..

The things to look out for in this series is your coil and rectifier.. :D
