Bro, maybe not airfilter leh.. Cause my bike was idling fine when my filter was like... I juz went service and seems like the prev owner never change filter for long liao but still the idling was ok le. Maybe the fi dirty? Or prolly timing out between the cylinders? I'm no expert tho.

bros having this issue ever since i fixed my silencer back. Whenever i start my bike my rpm will drop below 1 and idle this will happen till it reaches the temp. of 50 deg. thereafter only will it slowly climb to 1.5rpm. the sound will also be something like when no petrol engine gonna die off knocking sound. i have also checked all spark plugs are working fine. anybody have encountered like this before or have any idea wd the prob could be?

Btw guyz... I'm still having my stock pipe. Wanting to change to akra... But saw that termi is also street legal. Any diff between those 2 in terms of perf and sound esp when the termi is straight thru (means no baffle is it)?I reckon prolly the termi would be louder?

I had 2 friends riding one with akra and another with termig my conclusion both has power but sound wise termig is louder as for akra a silent pipe i reckon if u are low profile to get akra as it is not that noisy but with power for termig its loud and powerful

Cool! I kinda like the termi but after reading up and checking it I hear lots of comments saying that the coating used on a termi is not that good leh. Like the cf parts tend to yellow on termi but not the akra. Hmm... Or at least thats wat i read. Wasted that there's no street legal full system for the k8. The cat is really fugly!

i know a similarity between both....both are very pricey! haha. Check with gmax bro, maybe they still have lv full sys ss header cf muffler that's legal for ur bike. and not as pricey.

yup mine fast idling only goes up to 1.5k rpm. 1.5k rpm is supposed to be the normal idling which i had set.

Got full sys meh for k8 600? I checked and checked, don't have leh.. but then again, my knowledge in this is rather shallow.. heh.. Anyway, bout the overpricing, maybe.. but i like it leh.. Hehe... How much damage for your arrow bro?

 

Oh and .. i don't wanna hack the cat.. later inspection how? I not so mechanically inclined when it comes to major things.. although i have a knack for getting things fixed. Simple simple stuff ok ler..

Ohh.. i didn't know that. And after checking, seems like got issues with the quality as well leh. More ppl would rather go with Akra... even the dukes themselves would go the Akra way.. hmm.. wonder wonder...

u want shiok i recommend u use arata...sit all day look at it still shiok...performance also shiok. pipe turn blue also shiok. sound must pull rev then shiok la.

I surf the us gixxer forum the other time.. For 4-2-2 they all recommend arrow, akra n m4.. I saw the m4 pipe so cool n fierce.. But dunno can get it legal in sg anot..

Bro removing the cat is kinda Illegal, but with a valid Street Legal Exhaust wif LinkPipe is ok. Wen inspection they will snap pics of the Link Pipe & all is well No Worries...

gmax won't stop u bro. they will sell u the exhaust. if u opt for headers only they'll sell u as spares with no cert, u opt for whole system will come with cert. but i think the price won't be that far off from the full sys with muffler. but u better check carefully, last time k7k8 1000 lv slipon and full sys different diameter inlet. if u buy the header and an akra slipon then both no ngam, u'll be dreaming of the arata i tell u. LOL.
