FI error means some sensor detecting problems or the sensor faulty. Chk service manual for steps to diagnose.

Anybody fix Scottoiler vSystem on gixxer? Any reason not to fix, esp if intend to track? Which vacuum hose you connect to? Best location to mount RMV?

Hi ppl, im riding k7 750cc.. Isit true that engine oil just need 2200ml, 2500ml (change oil filter) , 2700ml (overhual) ... Im a newbie.

I've went ahead to fix it up already as tired of cleaning and lubing chain. Instead of taking it off one of the cylinder vacuum hose, I've connected it to the end at the intake air pressure (IAP) sensor. Added a small piece of vacuum hose w/o cutting the original.

Hose routing is the most time consuming. I've routed it through a hole inside the left side frame.

Out through the bottom hole. Left some slack for suspension movement.

Mount at the wheel side of bobbin mount to minimise bending.

RMV put at left side of pillion seat. Left some hose slack for maintenance.

Also easy filling and flow adjustment. Actually wanted to mount on outside of frame but will make it difficult to fill and adjust. Also more damage when fall if outside of frame.

Yes, following service manual. Earlier models need more EO.

Bishan. Weekdays tough. Weekends usually early mornings before 9. Time mostly taken up by family.

Changing the front sprocket size will affect the speedo reading..The rear doesnt matter..

 

Usually ppl will get something like speedo healer to correct the readings.

Thanks. Different years' model have different ratios. K7 is 17/45 from manual.

 

As the speed sensor is at the front sprocket, changing front, rear sprockets and rear tyre/rim sizes will affect speedo accuracy. Mine is off by about 12.7% after changing to 16/46 using the online calculator.
