True to that bro. I believe many of the risk takers would rather have the eliminator on. When inspection due, then will revert to the original or attach those rubber 'no kiss' brand mud flap to pass the bike. If wanna play safe, better get it then. But bro, everything else on ur bike LTA friendly?

Not say cannot bro, if(touchwood) kena stop by LTA, they can and will penalize us for every single fitted LTA non-compliant add-ons. Of cos having lesser of these add-ons will minimize our damage($$$).

Anybody fixed aftermarket slipper clutch? Any recommendations for GSXR750? My brake-downshift-turn sucks big time... Upshifts are ok now with quickshifter but I still clutch in.

Hi guys, any kind soul can help me? Im potentially going to take over a second hand k7 600.

 

Is there anything that i can look out for during the viewing? Like the engine sound or anything? Also it come with the illegal yoshi exhaust, can try to send for inspection to legalize it? But the previous owner bought it online.

 

If its a legal model to start with, say you lost you cert and go to the dealer for arrow in sg to get the certification. btw check that baffle is still there.

Guys,

Which one of these products do you or have used on your bikes? Tot of trying it out. Mileage is around 37K Kms. Any advice?

 

I use the STP gas treatment and fuel injector cleaner. Both are gd products. Used once a month.

STP very easy to get. Now NTUC selling black at $6.50. Never see the white one before though.

It's a gradual cleaning process that tries to restore the engine to original condition, rather than having to dismantle engine for cleaning. Don't expect miracle unless yours is really dirty to start with. $6.50 is at AMK Hub, others not sure. But you can buy at any Mobil station at $7.50 I think.

 

Have been running 3 bottles over 3 consecutive full tanks. Will open up to see if it removes the carbon on my intake valve stems.

Manual injector cleaning not required unless you have not been maintaining your bike. Synchronising yes once in a while. Manual says 12kkm or 2 years as a guide.

All workshops do sync and you have many options in the east. However, I don't have much experiences with them as the bike is new to me and I do the sync myself.

Clutch switch does nothing except during starting. My switch is permanently on :)

 

Many posts mentioned a 20HP and 500rpm peak reduction when the switch is on (ie clutch in). The electrical diagram also shows the clutch switch wire connecting to the ECU.

 

I have kept the switch on but removed the wire going to the ECU. Can't feel any difference, probably cos not on track. But definitely sets my mind at ease :)
