...Talking about a race track if u compare between a 600cc and 750cc it doesnt make any different for singaporean rider standard ...and talking about burrning hole it make no different too comparing from a 600 or 750 or even a 1000cc...the price of the spares and accessories are much about the same...

 

Based on what you say, I should just forget about the 600 or 750 and just go for the 1000?

NO...im not saying u can forget about the 600 0r 750....in fact i rode or race most of the suzuki from the late 80s...89' k750..wr 750..ws1100..750wt..750 millenium...1000k1..600k2..1000k5..and now looking for something newer bike....dunno y..but i still love suzuki...as wat HimQQ mention earlier it all boils down to own mind..but like i mention earlier wif regard to spares and accessories the price are about the same..so what are your preference..?

I haven't been riding in the past 4 years or so and have no big bike experience. The bike will be used for minimal commuting duties , it will be used for mostly weekend riding and (possibly) the occasional trackday. I'm not based in Singapore and would be happy to get an older bike, since I have no COE to worry about.

 

Having zero track experience, is there any reason stopping me from getting a 600/750/1000? Or would I be better off getting a smaller bike? Cost-wise, a new-ish CBR250/Ninja 250 (400s don't seem that common) would cost almost just as much as a late 90s/early 00s 600/750.

Last time the old gixxer here used to meet at kallang mcdonald than after chit chat and makanthey will go yishun dam and lastly kaki bukit teh haha missed the old meet ups you all should do that again get to know each other meet up often at the same time can share things about your gixxer and maybe organise a track session to improve riding style or the one who loves long riding can organise ride up to melacca for a&w
