Yes.. seems the PCIII is shorted. My auto choke seems to have a problem. Unlike all.your bikes, my mrn start does not start up with higher revs and then drop to steady idle.. like all EFI bikes should be...

So.. I'm planning to clean the injectors and then see.if.it helps.

Uncle, can it be TPS? All my other Rpm ranges have no issues.

The auto choke rpm can be adjusted although I dunno how.

Biting on the fray of my hair, I muse upon the way to find the oasis of evermore beyond the vertical horizon, I shall join the windupdeads in owl city, neither my safetysuit nor my red jumpsuit apparatus can save me, cuz I mistook a death cab for cutie in plain white T's...

It's documented in the service manual. Adjustment is via a nut near the idle screw, however need to take TPS voltage measurements to check within specs. Adjusting idling will also affect the fast idle since they are on the same lever. Unless it bothers you, can leave it as fast idle is less than 15secs for our climate.

"Race" pipe is usually not street legal. Check whether you have a rectangular box or cylinder between your silencer and header, at the bike belly. If not, your bike is de-cat. Must be quite loud to attract their attention.

Actually, putting in dealer mode won't give you any code unless the FI is lighted. Idle adjustment is done on warm engine btw. Below is the list of possible causes for the issue.

The other possibility is your long-term air-fuel adjustment got reset to original when you changed your battery. Maybe just increase idling and go ride for some distance / fuel change before doing any other thing.

i cant find the damn idle valve!!! hahaha! ive read its on the left side of the bike between the frame and the tank

This is what i found online..

Is it the gold screw on the extreme RHS of the pic with the exposed thread?

If thats what it is, i dont think i can reach it without removing the tank right?

Hi marco, I THINK it's normal for your age and the CC of the bike. I think if u ride 1000, can hit almost 2000 if I'm not wrong.

Mine $300+ but of course I'm much older than you :) I think gixxer premiums went up recently...

hi markopolo, where to check the cert layout? ill post my pipe cert that i got.

This is generic cert. There is a booklet with agent chop and a LTA inspection letter stating it has passed testing. If base on this cert, not enough. Fine is $700.

haiz.... ill go to arrow dealer tomorrow and see how it goes....

And isnt adjusting the idle not completely solving the problem?

As in, it is simply a 'mask-over' measure if it is lets say, a TPS issue?

Actually that's not what I meant. Increase the idle first so that you don't flame out while riding, which I think is dangerous. Then ride more to clear old petrol and carbon built-up. Then only adjust back idle and check if problem solved. Don't need to lift tank but need to wear gloves.

Perhaps some water in the tank might cause the stalling effect.
