Hi all, I'm new in Suzuki bike. Need help here, just brought a k7 600 few days ago. First 2 days ride half way stop at the traffic light rpm from 1.5 slowly drop to 1 follow by 0. Engine stop, I start again maintain at 1000rpm after few second engine stop. I try to maintain my throttle at 1.5 rpm till reach home, the next day back to normal? What should I observe about this? Please advise me, thank you so much...

not normal bro, thats the only thing i can say. since u said u just bought it, go back to the shop where u purchased and get the problem rectified.

Spyder thanks for your advise but too bad can't go back to shop already. Now come out new rule. before I get the bike, the bike shop ask me to sign 1 of the letter is about the bike condition everything was ok. Once sign anything not working need to bear you own so no choice.

Do you have any shop to intro me like servicing or repair in future of cos the price reasonable. 8yrs never ride bike already. Ha ha

The lemon law will make that letter illegal. Know your rights!

Care to let us know which shop is that? And yes planet is one of the best around. But sometimes waiting time could be long...

Hi guys,

 

Need your advice. Am riding a k6 1000. I'm having issues starting the bike with its temperature is high at 100+ degrees. So what happen is when temp is high, n I off the bike an start immediately is ok. But wen wait any longer and start again. It won't start. It cranks but just won't start. I've changed the starter motor n battery but still cant start when temp is high.Checked on the Internet, some said could be the coolant sensor or cylinder head temp sensor? Starting when it's below a 100 usually ain't an issue. Isit normal ? And have u guys experience this? How do I get this fixed. Many thanks

Anyone got problems with the authority regarding ur exhausts? Im riding a k7 750 here, they are getting more strict i guess regarding the cat box which will be missing when using aftermarket pipes, just got mine settled, a built in catalyst was installed n sealed, according to gmax tis is not applicable to my pipe, only the newer ones. Guess lta just want the easy way to solve my prob, some pics.

Anyone got problems with the authority regarding ur exhausts? Lucky me i was stopped by the enforcement officer n was escorted to sta sin ming even after explaining to them tat the stock exhaust n cat box is one-pieced, n the aftermarket exhaust comes wif mid pipe.

For my case, I was using arrow pipe to mid pipe to header. Got stopped by LTA and asked me to go to vicom the next day and I failed the inspection for missing cat. $500.

Can u show photos of your CAT bro?

 

No labour charge n no charges for the catalyst by gmax, only the spring which is $16.05 coz mine missing.

You can go to any bikeshop really. HKL, Unique...etc.

Can u show photos of your CAT bro?

 

If u were to zoom thru the pipe theres like some rolled cardboard like stuff, head down to lta n request to see their vehicle engineering dept to rectify bout ur exhaust like i did.

Guys, im gettin tis fi red light blinkin quite often n displays shows the word FI at the temp side. Tot it was nothin as off n on engine it will dissappear, but gettin it too often already. Bike will have tat sudden jerk engine brakin feelin n den move off as per normal when cruising n it gets scarier when it happens during a bend, really scare the **** out of me! Anythin in mind, views n opinion accepted, thanks.
