police wun even bother..

3 bikes fell, seats damaged, fairings scratched, i went to the neighborhood police post to make a report at 950pm.

young nsf chap: you CANNOT make a police report. coz i gotta close shop at 10pm. anyw, my equipment is not here so CANNOT take photograph of the damage.

i called the npc to send their guys down to take photograph and report.

another young nsf chap: we CANNOT send a unit down to take photograph, u bring the bike to us.

me: my bike's broken down, u r very far away.

the nsf chap: you PUSH the bike to us.

his father (me) very angry ald, ask any other method. ya, go online lodge report, no photographs, nobody to take statement, just a self service online report.

until today not even an email was received.

i wonder wats the motivation for these thiefs? is it worth the trouble and risks? even non-riders would guess that a bike parked in a home carpark wouldn't have anything more than raincoat or helmet in the box... maybe a arai or shoei if they're lucky but what the chances?

Lost my rayban shades with my cash card and parking coupons, and I don't even know when or where it happened. The theif managed to open (and perhaps lock) my box, taking only the expensive stuff, and leaving the others (cloth, raincoat, etc) untouched. But I'm suspecting I lost it when I parked at a carpark in Tampines St 22. Read a news report recently that a serial bike thief was caught in that area. Lesson learnt: If it's something I can't afford to lose, then I should not place it in my bike box.

Now my neighbour's bike is box less. Saw him every time put his new givi box in his car's boot after he reach home. I think it's because the thief last time saw him wear arai helmet before. So every time target his box hoping the arai is inside. But lucky he not stupid, only keep cheap stinky helmet inside and brought his arai home every time after he ride.

its very common to lose your cashcard in BROAD DAYLIGHT. maybe u might want to remember to remove them in future. i've lost 3 of them myself. blame no one but yourself.:angel:

A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down.

since ur neighbourhood is so unsafe, just empty ur box and bring back all stuff la... leave it open or unlock... they got no reason to temper ur box and nothing to steal at all...

and i park my bike with people around, not in isolated spots, how daring can they be, we bikers should always help each other by keeping a lookout on potential thieves
