Hi all,

 

Cant seem to find any thread discussing on Vespa GTV 125/250.

I'd like to start with asking about exhaust pipe.

Any GTV owners with aftermarket exhaust pipes?

What brand? Where did u buy it? Street legal? And how much?

Are you looking for exhaust pipes as well? I found the shop that would be able to fix for you a street legal one. Quite pricey though.

I am not looking at the exhaust yet, in fact, I am a hobbist and I have my own portable welding M/C to do my own weldings... and I can also do brazing if you have the Oxy-touch..

not many gtvs around. I think majority of the modern vespas around are LXs and GTs

I meant to imply that I like first to Tinker with my bike as oppose to replacement.

I'm more of a restore freak....

Even if my exhaust were to suffer a broken joint or small rusted leak at the expansion box area, I would rather tag weld the leak area.

However, there are times, it is way way cheaper to replace a part.

Well, this tread might not have any GTV owners but outside my window for the last 2 years is one... owned by neighbour.

I might just pop him my card whether he would like to release his scoot...

Sigh... Bought a X8 instead sometime back....Looks like will ride till its COE end or the scooter kaput!

Maybe then will buy the GTV300, which i believe cannot be so high in price ( Given the same age and milage compared to a 125) Kekeke
