Still prefer the S, actually, I went down to PML on 22.02.05 to view the S with AC Sch rims, it wasn't there, heng. Just curious, GS1200, is the S sold?

Hey SDR, Just read one of your post abt your wife asking u to keep the Mystic. I totally agree with your wife abt keeping the Mystic. It will be a Mistake to sell the Mystic after all the emotions, sleepless nights, hard polishing cleaning efforts, enduring the stupid mechanics' attitude, patiently waiting for parts and lastly all the $$$ poured in :cheeky:

U r very lucky to have a wife tats supportive of u when she actually ask u to buy another instead :cheer:

Doubt so the S is sold. Jus tat sometimes the owner brings it for a spin to keep bike running. His intention of selling is actually to get GS12

Hey Koma, the option of a van crossed my mind too :cheeky: Given the worsening weather conditions nowdays, i guess it would be a more pratical idea to get a simple car to provide a roof

But gave up the van idea cos of thespeed limit ... buay tahan  Now saving up to buy a car :cheeky:

Buying a 2B bike may be a good idea too. How abt going back to your old luv the 'Runner' Nice looking bike with options for top boxs to carry marketing :thumb:

Still considering the “S”, I have no commitment now, quite enjoy “half retired” life. But will give this France guy a call, if price is good, then I am going to ruin my “half retired” life.

'Ruin'? Come on...it will make your half-retired life 'interesting' with an addition of an S into the family... :thumb:

PL, Nov 2006, can't wait lah, make it 25th Feb 2005, go to PML now.

1) No $$$

2) 2-year cooling off period. See whether my interest can be sustained for so long. If yes, then......

Also, 2 years for me to stash away some funds for it without wife's knowledge. kekeke

3) By then, a car may be more practical (with kids, wife's preference, etc.)

4) Dont want to hurt Bertha's feeling.

Hey guys, while we marvel at the goodness of BMWs, I read this in one site :

If you have extra cash to spend per mth, then go for GS. Like XXX had mentioned, BMW stands for B ring M ore W orry.

Like everyone here, most of us wish to upgrade to GS, however it's not worth, I felt AT still the best. I had already commited on my GS, if not will go back to AT. If I get a good offer, really to let go my GS anytime.

Everything cost more for GS, drink more, limited skilled mechanics. What U get in return? onli the look, comfort, tubleless tyres & more worries. Whatever a GS can do, AT can do too. I would rather be a AT - GS wanabe owner.

Thoughts n opinions anyone

My 2 cents. Though the writer may be right abt the AT but its an Apple n Orange comparison o_O

P.S. : JUST KIDDING, TAKE YOUR TIME, BEST TO GET 2ND BATCH. [/b]

Yeah, that's another reason to wait.

Initial batch, it's like letting customers explore n expose any flaws.

Better to get subsequent batches where things have been fixed/ironed out somewhat.

Well, whenever I m being ridiculed and made a joke by my 'frens' for paying $40k for a bike. I can only keep quiet n get suan, so much so that I finally gave up joining these 'frens' in order to avoid any conflicts. In return, these 'frens' started spreading rumours that since I had bought such an expensive 'prestige' bike, I found them not good enough for me :giddy:

For me, whenever I'm meeting with up with friends, I make a conscious effort not to ride my bike or mention it. I will take public transport with them, or 'tumpang' whoever is driving a car. I experienced the 'suan'-thingy b4. They totally ignore the fact that it's a 6-year old bike and the price is no longer as high as brand new. As long as it's a BMW, that's it....
