check your chain is it loose?

Always ride safely and defensively.

Repair bike cheap and fast,

Repair body expensive and slow.

"Losing" power might be due to improper settings or mechanical damage. Try to get it resolved first before spending on performance parts. Older bikes like the SP will need a bit more tender loving care to restore and maintain its optimal performance.

Care to describe your symptoms of power loss? Such as, poor pickup / response on wide open throttle, etc. Chances are a bit of carb settings will do the trick.

Do the cheap fixes first, for most of the bikes I've tinkered with, correcting the carb settings solves most of the problems.

don't need to waste so much money to do your bike up until so powerful.. unless you play track then different story lah. just spend on your normal servicing can already. use the money upgrade to 2a, simple.

This problem I turn one screw solved already. I'll leave it up to you whether we can do a DIY tech session to solve it this weekend rather than go shop get crazy diagnosis and spend $$ for unnecessary repairs.

I think you have my hp already.
