Anyone had troubles of haze forming on your visor while riding? Especially when it's cold outside during rainy seasons like this, causing vapor from your breath to condense on your visor resulting bad visibility?

Anyone knows how to solve this problem? I know Motoworld sells this anti-fog strip to paste on the visor, but it's kinda blurrish also. Any other solutions?

Divers always use saliva to smudge their goggles before diving to prevent the haze, I heard using potato works also. Any commercial sprays?

I saw in this tv show way back where if ur mirror fogs up during a hot bath using shaving cream and wiping it on the mirror prevents fog build up as silly as that may sound . Give it a try but not certain if it works on visors :cheeky:

Just tried shaving cream, totally rocks. And the visor looks sparkling clean. I tried putting the visor over boiling water and the vapour just became drops of water, didn't condense to become hazy form. Tried breathing on it and nothing happens. Good suggestion Dean!

i heard that armourall spray that protects plastics also works...never tried it before personally though...

I read somewhere that toothpaste works too, but I've not tried it yet.

Usually it only fogs when I stop, once I move off it'll clear off so I didn't put much thought into using such stuffs...

Actually I also learnt to lift visor up abit during rainy days from a riding magazine, but I realised doing that is not helping at all... Bits of rain will slowly splash into the inside of your visor after long distance rides, causing even poorer visibility, worse if you wear specs. At high speeds it's also practically impossible to lift up the visor abit, the visor will just slam shut back due to the wind resistance.

So far I think the shaving cream solution works best. Going to buy the anti-fog spray from Paris Miki tomorrow as recommended by Cobalt, shall let you all know how's the result.

just open your visor slightly and the condensation will clear

I recently bought the rainex wipes for my car.

Tried it on my helmet visor, works for fogging as well!!

I applied both on the outside as well as inside of the visor.

No probs in the rain, no fogging up of the inside :cheer:
