my rear tyre now has 2 punctured wounds.. but have been placed with the "worm" thing. hahah i dont know what it is called...

can i know roughly how much to get the tyre replaced and any specific model i should be looking out for.

Can try Planet motor... look for ah chong.

 

Or can go bikeworkz, look for ah beng.

 

Go for Sirac, it is very good road tires... should be ard $320 for front and back...

Hi all. I'm thinking of getting this bike which you all love. However i'm pretty much in the dark with regards to the financial aspects (well maybe along with the technical but that can be solved through a simple google search).

 

The thing is, I'm pretty sure the last time I checked my accounts, I do not have enough to buy the whole bike. However, how much should I be prepared to fork out for this bike with a loan? I don't mind having a 2nd hand bike if the condition is viable.

 

Your pointers on this would certainly be a great help to me and who knows, a future proud owner of Varadero 125. Thanks ;)

Hi bro, for me I find that the maintanence for vara125 is just slightly more than a normal 2B bike. That is because EO for vara is 1.5 bottle, and you need 2 spark plugs instead of the usual 1, but it's really not an issue if you love your vara. Love is blind. haha :) Only thing more expensive are the OEM parts which costs more than most 2B bikes out there.

 

For second hand bikes, you can check out this forum. There are a few of the vara bros here are looking to sell their bike. Hope you get a vara and share our joy! haha. :thumb:

 

hmmmm...any vara bros interested in selling any accessories??? keen to get some stuffs....

 

I have a brand new vara clutch cable and a V-strom front mudguard to let go. Been in my store for wayyy too long. Let me know if you're keen! Thanks :cheeky:

Maybe bro nineh or those senior/ex vara 125 riders can give us an example of the undercowl/skidplate that can be fabricated at seng kwang... Plzz help us,the newbies... And also wanna ask about the 'boosters' that the seniors are talking about dated approx 4 5 years ago.. Haha! So last 5 years sia... Can we still get that booster rite now in 2010... Plzzz help us dearest seniors.. Cheers!
