Thank u luminicious and skateboy.

Yes maybe it's metal contractions, but when I bring the bike to mechanic, the first thing they do is checking the chain, bearing etc.

Hi, skateboy, if it's the chain loosen, I may need to tighten it every week, I believe. Will try out the solutions that u guys suggested.

Thank u guys

They might just anyhow wayang wayang. tighten one time can last for abt 1 to 2 months. if every week need to tighten, then u need to change the sprocket and chain set. and also start to do chain maintenance to lengthen the chain life.

Pressurized water and motorcycles simply don't mix. It is never a good idea to take your bike to a pressure wash. If you do, just use the low pressure mist that usually comes out without pulling the handle back. You should expecially avoid using it on your your chain. It forces water into the pins and past the "o" rings. It corrodes the pins and no amount of lube will cure that problem. A chain should be degreased with a solvent soaked rag or a specifically forumulated chain cleaner. You can't lube a chain too much. Any extra lubricant spins off and coats everything with sticky chain grease, which can also include the side of your rear tire. It also attracts tons of road dirt which then requires more cleaning. A chain if best lubed warm after a ride and done roughly every 500 miles. Your chain should have 5/8 to 1" of slack.

its nvr good to wash bike with pressurised jet spray. can wash at a distance and with supervision as the cleaner do not know where can wash where cannot. esp chain links, bearing seal, switches etc....

Some other parts might damaged without u knowing. wheel bearings? swing arm bearings? frame? dun think the shop checked those. if the wobble is not that bad, just have to live with it.

I told them to check all those too.... Still no diff

guess u have to live with it already. :(

which tyre good for fz16st?

I just changed to pirelli sports dragon tyre from unique motorsport, quite decent set of tyre. Able to corner without worries and I read online this is consider good for FZ16 riders.

Anyway you might want to check with them if the promo is still going on :)

I've used pilot street previously. It's not bad for it's price. During the wet it's alright as well. Nothing fantastic about it but defo better than MRF stock lol

I was previously using the Michelin Pilot Streets, they're not bad. I think they're comparable to the sport dragon. However, now my bike is fitted with S20 EVO. I would say they're even better or the best for our size. Very grippy, warms up fast and sticks to the tarmac at Pasir Gudang. Bad points are that it's not really that cheap but unique has it for $250 at the moment and the threads at the sides aren't as plenty as the pilot street.

Hi people! I'm new here. Hi Hi!

Just bought a 2nd FZ16 gen2 model. Has been with me for just a little over a week. Have to give in to the ridiculously crazy COE price I must say.. but I am absolutely LOVING it.

Anyway I have been camping this thread for quite sometime now.

Anyone did stiffened/lowered the front end and rear suspension (stiffened)? I feel that it is "soft".

If so.. What are my options based on things that anyone here already knew to get this small issue fixed. :)

Rear shock, tighten the preload. if not, change to better shock. front fork, service the fork and use thicker oil, or change spring if there is. last but not least, live with it. the set up is good for normal rides, not aggressive riding. comfortable A to B bike.
