The group of guys I ride with all go to the Johore Circuit pretty regularly. Sometimes even weekday mornings. Intend to go more frequently next year but ideally I would like to get a track bike first.

That's cool.......a real track bike??? Why not the Z1000??? They use this bike for Superbike.

 

I'm planning to go down with a fren in the coming weeks. We go slow....for fun only, nothing competitive at all......go in safe, come out safe, with a full tank of gas, and some ciggies to accompany...... :cheeky:

Type: Open to Woodlands & Singapore Citizens (Bring along frens, bf & gf too, more the merrier)

 

Date: 27 NOV 2004 (Saturday)

Time: 1930 - 2000hrs (30 mins waiting b4 moving off)

 

Venue: WDLS MRT Station Taxi Stand (near the toilet one) -- Able to park ur bike on the pavement one.

 

Duration: Hours

A small meetup could be a good head start for future bigger events.......I ever join a group of bikers for meetup with the invitation of a fellow biker.....and when we were there, another group of 8 bikers came down. Due to space constraint, they had to sit at another table. At the end of the day, I only get to know 1 more biker and still hang out with him occasionally. The rest, I can't even remember the faces, not to mention what's their name nor their ride.....

 

Once small gatherings became more happening, interested bikers will wanna come on their own, and we'll have a stronger bond between Woodlands Riders. Exhaustion, KFC rider and Sleepyheadz had such small meetups, and I'm sure interested to join them, and know them better, one at a time.....Hoping Sleepyheadz will be active again after his exams :thumb:

 

Dun give up......A spark to lit a campfire is better than a blowtorch, as it will burn everything down as soon as it lit the campfire.

Gee.....

 

Round 1330hrs, while I was hanging my towel on my window, saw a GSX1000 wheelie by Ave 5.....damn!!! It was not a pop, but a delibrate wheelie as the rider was actually sitting off the saddle during the 1 lampost length wheelie!!!!

 

I saw lots of these during my 2.5yrs in the States, but the first time in SG!!!!

 

Hmmm......wonder is the rider a Woodlands Rider???
