Almost going to hit 40 riders in woodlands liao. Imagine all come out for a mass gathering and kopi session. The parking slot of the coffee shop will be full and the public eyes will grow bigger. Anyone interested in having an outing next weekend perhaps saturday ? If at least got 5 ppl who are interested. I organise one and post it here.

Why don't u guys try and take out the brake pad and caliper and do some cleaning...... it might help in solving your problem....

Hey, I think I kindda solved my binding problem.....as my clutch reservoir and my rear brake reservoir is the same, and even the rubber seal is the same, what I did was swapped the rubber seals and the binding's gone!!!!

 

I remember I ever swapped the rubber seals for fun and then the binding came. I compared the seals and they are identical (same P/No), but however, I was thinking might as well just try, since I itchy finger swapped them in the first place.....and it solved it.

 

My mechanic fren comment that the seal actually works like a diaphrame and a negative pressure will be created in the reservoir when I depress the rear brake. The rubber seal will kindda help suck back the brake fluid from the brake calliper when I no longer step on the brake pedal. So if this seal soften or weaken, it will not help the fluid to return back to the reservoir......well, just his 2 cents, but I think it's logical......I'm using Brembo rear brake.

Just moved from Yishun to Woodlands. I'm now also staying on Woodlands Dr 50 like the topic starter. Noticed lots of signs around the area about bike theft etc. First night I parked my Sonic in woodlands I lost one of the bar ends. I'm too scared to park my Z1000 there for fear it will get stolen so it resides back at a friends condo but it's a pain in the butt when I wanna ride it on weekends as I have to go collect it. Actually just how safe is it leave your bike parked long term (and not ridden) in the HDB carparks around there. I've been told that it's one of the high theft areas in Singapore.

Think woodlands is not the highest bike theft rate in singapore...... as u can see most sbf posted bike lose/stolen/parts gone/been burn are at north east area..... try to park ur bike at a most visible area by u or others.....
