the speedo is nice.. but the function is simple.. only speedo, total milage and fuel meter thats all...

Good enough for me. Afterall, it's just a cub and you won't be touring on it.

So long as you can tell what revs you're doing and the speed I'm happy.

front brake disc looks like the biggest dia among all the cubs.....

but the fuel tank is too small for it's engine capacity.

wish they can design a 10 litres tank.

care to write more about this bike... :cheeky:

ps:

menphis wish u can change ur lovey gf pics to something smaller......thanks.

thanks 4 reducing ur lovely gf pics....

btw now u r runnin-in ur engine.

best tat u don't whack top speed, unless do the motoman-usa method.

normal recommendation, just do max 70 kph for the first 500km.

then max 80 kph for the next 500km.

or engine rpm try not to rev >5000rpm for 1000km.

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forum/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=2526911/run_in.jpg

ur fc 43km/l is good, i ride roadwin125, run-in time fc 35km/l @ max 70kph.

now need some power, enriched the carb settings.

fc avg 28~30km/l for a 125cc.

avg speed 100kph@7800rpm.

max speed 120kph@9500rpm.

but roadwin bike's body is heavy with big tyres. :cheeky:

where do u get the fork protector??

luv to have those thing. :lovestruck:

the last bar will blink together with the fuel pump logo, travel another 18km, inside still got petrol, maybe ard 5mm depth from the tank base( agar-agar only lah). maybe can last another 5-10km i think, not dare to try.

just wondering where do they get this inverted fork from ??

I believe the engine in this bike is very similar to the FXR150 (Suzuki's answer to the CBR150). The specs for this bike can be seen here:

http://www.fxr150.ws.net.nz/specifications.php

This states 20bhp @ 9900RPM! If so then it should be easy to upgrade the specs of the Raider 150 to add 4 extra BHP without much hassle. (Most likely cams/carburation) FXR150's are pretty common in Malaysia/Johor and I often see malaysian plate FXR150's on the road in Singapore.

Imagine a 95kg cub with 20 BHP! (or more) AWESOME.

wahlaoz seriously aas mentioned,a bike weighing lesser then a 100kg producing 20bhps is way too awesome & i find its a cool ride :lovestruck: :lovestruck:

In reality anything is possible but I would NEVER advise a front basket. I've ridden those waves in Thailand with front baskets and at night if you put anything in the basket it obstructs the light which is dangerous. You can probably put on of those spines or a custom centre basket in though. This just means your legs are a little wider apart like a normal bike but atleast it doesn't affect the safety. Still think the best option is a small rear mounted box.
