Checked out defu lane... yes there is a raider there going for 2.8k FBE plate (not really sure if thats the real number plate)

 

the price is not bad, but what really put me off is how the guy manning the shop treated me. Really bo layan me lah. He must had thought I was only window shopping. Nevermind, I rather get this bike somewhere else.

 

Alamak bro, just get the bike there and ignore the guy

where else can u find a raider nowadays? and for that price, i think quite ok provided the bike is in tiptop condition.

 

btw, do they carry parts for raider? mine is in need of servicing

I got UMA caburettor for sale t 100.00SGD last time sed that for race. Now tuas close lready so I changed to SP carb. Anyone wants can meet up for viewing.

 

Bros, once a year try using OWS engine flush. Add in to old engine oil run the bike for 10 minutes then drain the oil out n change to new engine oil. Engine will be smoother. Theb add engine OWS ENGINE PROTECTOR to oil. Power.

 

Also, petrol dun nd to use ezpensive. Caltex 92 good enough. Less knocking. Power still the same. F ou want more power than add STP octane booster. But fc willbdecrease.

I was at bike dynamics accompanied friend to pay installment. Asked the boss if he has a raider somewhere. Told me he doesn't want to take the risk to take in this bike. Not as popular as spark/x1r. I asked for his opinion why and he told me probably because of its outlook which doesn't satisfy new riders (the main market for cubs)

 

Which is quite true lah.. newly passed riders, most of them doesn't know how to appreciate this bike lah. You tell them this bike has DOHC, long forks, monoshock etc they become blur. I noticed most riders riding this bike are also quite lao jiao already. Haiz, what a pity lah. Coz I feel this bike outperforms most 2b 4 stroker, r125, r15, spark/x1r, cbr150 can smell raiders' smoke..

Do you know Raider R is 4.9 Litre capacity tank ?

I tried to run drain and refill.

 

Now in JB SHELL got new petrol called V-POWER RON 97

The current existing V-POWER RACING still available.

 

In JB near Carrefour, SHELL I pump in 4.97 litre V-Power 97

I took the receipt - att

Super extra real power but fuel consumption same same 25km per litre

 

Then in Skudai, changed engine oil and genuine suzuki oil filter

Shell Advance VSX 4T (15W-50) RM 25

Suzuki oil filter RM 5.40

Bro, my bike is 3.5 yr old and my mileage is only 42k. Does that make my mileage very low?

Was cleaning my Raider and saw that my rear sprocket is 38. Original seems to be 43. The ex-owner has changed to a smaller sprocket for higher top speed.

 

Hope to change back to original 43 soon. However, in the meantime, i'm enjoying a lower Fuel consumption rate with this sprocket as the same speed is taken at lower rpm. Maybe that's the reason the ex-owner changed to 38. Anyway, i still prefer original.

 

If anyone want my 38 sprocket, i'm okay to swap with your original 43. Tks.

What brand of competition are you selling? Full system or just rear muffler? is it LTA compliant?
