headlight ( 2 bulbs ) check - OK

throttle free play - OK fit

throttle smoothness serviced put anti-rust and oil

cable lever clutch adjust freeplay 10mm or 1cm

checked for cowling fairing vibration - OK

Hi Gun, so far you use the Waxco is is good? In terms of shine, lasting and ease of application? Good in removing stain on paint?

use that particular waxco wax metallic . must be the same I used. it is superb

changed the fuel lid cap

cause suspect after full petrol tank the rubber is not strong and leakage around tank

 

changed to new corrective action part number

Hi Gun, any possibility of having a bigger fuel tank for our bike? You have ever come across? Tanks is just too small and refilling frequency too short. Do you know some shops do such fuel tanks. Thanks.

it has one pipe

 

where they buy - i don know

 

maybe u go some shops and ask this typoe of tank

 

or u may ask belang community

 

or ask suzuki service centre

technician may know where to get

 

it is safe and reliable tank

07377km 15/8/15 service major

 

one day at 4400km road flood at woodlands custom . water caused electrical off. Then start back. OK It happen twice. Why ?

Today mechanic said there is tiny hole inside block for water flow in/out in case of flood. So it may have blocked with dirt. So he used air spray gun to blow out residues.

many screws of body cover frame changed to new one cause one one thread worn out. Used all genuine suzuki screws.

Tighten adjuster clutch cable lever

Red Grease and wd-40 CABLE ASSY,THROTTLE

Brake fluid Mobil DOT 4

Overhaul front disc caliper . changed many corroded components. Apply red grease

shell R4 1000ml RM17.60.

Went to JB to do some repair.

 

1) Adjust the chain tensioner. Mine is not original. Thinking of changing next time. Now the engine is smooth. No more funny sounds.

2) My electric start not working. The workshop confirmed it is the starter relay problem. Jump direct, it can start easily. Noe looking for the relay.

3) Change the front sprocket from 14T to 15T. Trying out. So far happy with it. There will be 7% difference.

4) After servicing the carb, my bike has issue and not able to speed up. After much tried by the mechanic, it was the cause of the diaphram. After adjustment, now working fine.

 

Now my speedo seems very closed to a car. Quite the same speed.

Just repair a few more things and my bike should be good condition to ride. Raider is a good bike. No regrets buying it.

Yeah. Have to find a day to JB Suzuki Setia to get all the parts. Especially the starter relay and the chain tensioner.
