17 dollars per month (MSCP fees)

vs

10 minutes every time u move out or come back to the carpark

u decide...........

(sometimes no need to tie also, cos the bigger catch that are worth more are the cars on level 5)

PROBLEM is not serious, if it can be solved with MONEY ... the PROBLEM comes when you have NO MONEY

Doesn't means in MSCP, your vehicle won't be dirty from the carbons spewing from exhausts.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

No, covered motorcycles are not immune to summons.

It all depends on how vigilant the inspectors are.

And yes, no one likes itchy hands on bikes. However there are exceptions where there are nice cosy corners in older housing estates where everyone respects each other (usually the more empty carparks) and it's safe to show off your customised parts :)

Still, better safe than sorry. Cover ftw.

Yeap, but these itchy hands werk fast! And u nd to call the police at times so they will step up patrol in ir vicinity. I have called twice so far abt pple goin near bikes and all. Patrols increased a lot.

Lol.

I was "Immune" for 5 months.

Then kena slap with $25 fine, for not parking in proper lot.

Then I decided to keep my "profits" and start paying $17 a month.

Din lock my cover whatsoever, just used clippers.

do you think this "tactic" will work in public carparks? like in wheelock or sth.

Sometimes i tried la. Opposite Cineleisure etc.

So far so good la, maybe i just heng.

My theory is, the saman fellow also human leh, under hot sun, will you slowly go and untie the cover check, and retie?

yes it will work ,

then after that the authorities will implement ERP parking or restrict bikes

Once i parked at woodlands stadium, put bike cover, next day come back, found love letter. The warden just take and throw the bike cover to see the front plate, never cover back properly.

$8 for parking without valid coupon, so paid $15 every month.

Been doing it for 3 years now.. Really $15 is worth it..

I pay for parking at my MSCP but i cover my bike too. The officers are active. I notice them removing the front or rear portion of the cover to double check. So, covering your bike will not help.

never underestimate the carpark enforcement

Also never underestimate lazy carpark enforcement. lol.

Anyway I've been covering my bike with a simple carabina hook on the D-rings to secure it. Primary purpose is to prevent theft and rain which will splash in from the outside.

For mscp, the season parking is S$17. The most I got per month is 2 tix which amounts up to $16. Still save $1. And it only happen the most 4~6 times a yr. So go figure. Since I still will cover my bike, so why not take the chance. If I got the summon, then I just pay online, no biggie.

Cause when i approach 1 uncle, who always cover i ask them politely did you buy parking.

The uncle tell me honestly no. He say he have been doing for 6 months, nothing happen he still ask me if i not lazy just follow him.

most of the time it seem they juz ignore when u cover.

hassle for them to open to check too.

or they also wan to prevent their bike from being prone to be targeted

Got to agree with this tho. Some itchy hands removed the emblem from my Vespa.
