Hi mat-vtech,

 

Which year does your BB born (manufacture) ?

If your's e first batch FI BB...then U have to check the wire hardness.

 

To check your FI blinking:

Remove our seat and use jumper to jump the service connector (somewhere near the tail light under e seat)

Turn your ignition to "ON" and count the blink.

 

Different number of blink repersent different fault.

Welcome to this BB forum and join this Birdies' family.

 

I think a FQ BB (crab model) will cost about 5.5 ~ 6.5 k. It depends on the condition and accessiores.

 

One of our Birdies just tread-in his FQ BB.

wah brother so chim eh..sorry hor..i didnt quite understand as its my first big bike..never even ride a class 2a bike b4..hope u can simplified for me..thanks..mine is a FR platter..btw wat is wire hardness??all these can be done on my own or have to do at bike shop?n also i can hear knocking sound at my engine area while riding..issit bkoz im under gear..?can the others also advise on when to change gears as i feel dat gear one can really pull very far n being a lazy rider i always seem to change my gear a bit late..sorry to ask so many questions..thanks bro..

Its Wire Harness! NOt Hardness.. hehehehe

 

Fr platter is Carb model. Knocking normally occur is u riding slow at high gear. eg. riding at 30-40 at gear 5...

U wil have to ride for a while to get the feel of the bike.

Layman term. U ride the bike, don let the bike ride u.

guys juz wanna check on ur petrol consumptions..im riding a FR plate BB..issit a carb or FI model?my fren,the previous owner told me dat its a FI model n he says dat full tank can pump up to 46 ringgit n clock abt 300km for normal riding..issit true?n do u guys have a side bike?currently im riding my rxz for work as my job requires me to have my own transport..any advice on how to maximise milleage on a full tank?

if u got an FI light on ur panel,den,it gota b an FI one...

mine is a stock BB...

ever pumped RM46(abit more den 23L)

i managed to try till 345km...

dunno if d udders got more mileage...

mine was urban riding in sgp...

Typo error mah.....Of course is a FI model.....otherwise how can the FI lited up?

U have to analyze the number of blink in order to know the fault of the bike.

hello fellow birdies..i juz got back frm JB n its the first time i went in wif my bird n also the first time i pump 42 ringgit of petrol on my ride..wah full tank really heavy..i got a hard time kicking the ground at customs..hehhe..i quite short n can only tip toe even wif only one leg down..muz train my legs muscles already..hahha..but its such pleasure cruising on the highway..anyway the traffic was quite smooth..btw,i saw the clip on the late misterbean n i saw sumone whom i think i saw b4..may i knoe who's the guy with the riding hat communicating thru the walkie talkie..i was frm AMKSS n i think i know him there or ard AMK area..niway guyz,ride safe..cheers!!!
