Hey guys, jz wanna check....i knw ive read abt this somewher in the forums...but cant find it now. On my bike, when i turn off the ignition or hit the kill switch, there will be like a "knock" sound before the engine shuts off. Its not loud though, but can be noticeable. Ive read about it before that if the sound is loud, its not a good sign. But dunno where to source it out actually.... i know for sure new bikes dont have that sound at all. How do i get it service? Which part is it that is causing the knock sound before the engine shuts off...?

Happy Valentine's Day Birdies

When you realize that you are trapped and surrounded, you will become fearless.

When you have no way out, you will tap into your courage to stand firm.

When you have no choice, you will fight back with all you might.

Hi guys,i'm intrested to get a blackbird. Currently i'm riding my S4 Vtec3 and i feel that i'm overusing the bike abit. Reason why is my fiance is studying in KL and i frequently travel up to KL.

I looking forward to trade my less than 2 years vtec with a blackbird soon. I realize that there's a few versions for blackbird. Which should i avoid(fuel injection models or carb. models) and which is good. What year was the last production for blackbird?. And i also see some blackbird with twin exhaust and single, whats the difference?.. Sorry to many questions..:)

Hi there.....ok where should i start......basically if u wanna ride a stock Blackbird.......u will get like 15 to 16km/liter of consumption.......there are basically 2 models the Carb and the EFI(injector).....the carb starts production on 1997 (i think) then after 1999 all are EFI models with analogue meters then 2000 starts EFI with digital meter........the last production is 2007.......if u prefer old skool go for the carb model but quite rare. EFI is ok though.........as for the exhaust........the twins are those who prefer the original look while the singles are using full system after market exhaust....there are after market end cans which comes in a pair for the original look.........well to me all BB are the same.......its how much u pamper the bird is important....treasure and shower her with gifts......u will be amaze how fast she can fly and run........i think its a good choice for touring and long distance ride..........if u know the bike well.......u can even reach KL in 1 1/2 hours...................please feel free to ask the other guys too...and welcome to the nut house.... from the slow turtle.....
