wow, thats really a very far ride up..

I just came back from phuket yesterday night, but I took a flight though..

suggest you buy a kidney belt (I forgot the exact term) for yourself and your wife.. helps with the posture..

 

I rode up to hatyai this April..

Take more frequent rests in between..

 

Thai customs does not operate 24/7, i believe they only work from 7am to 7pm

So try to reach border by this time..

Thanks for the tips and advises bros, yes I have all those items prepared. I have also insert tyre sealant to my tyres, just in case. Setting off later at 12am, wish me luck. Cheers to all my BB riders...

bro, jus b careful on the roads frm Sadao to Krabi.....u will pass by this area called "Trang"....there u have to pass thru hilly areas....the road are super narrow and super slippery and there are bound to b mudslides when it rains....when i went there, it was heavy rain....so even when goin at 50kmh, can feel ur rear tyres sliding....i rode 17hrs frm Gelang Patah to Krabi....my advice stop-over at Sadao for a nite then u can proceed to Krabi....the road from Krabi to Phuket awesome, many corners....better than Mersing....haf a safe trip bro!! n yes a back protector does u wonders!! so get one!!!

safe journey..raining period sure encounter rain on some parts of journeys zzz..I'm going to hatyai on the 19th..

 

 

How much is the fees for inserting sealant in the interior of the tyres ?

 

 

Do remember to put sgd$2 along wif ur passport when going thru Thai custom..

I got this car workshop at Bukit Panjang (beside SHELL) to do the job for me.

Sealant used - Ride On TPS.

 

My tyre still got punctured about 6mths later though, by a nail. So I dont know whether its a good investment.

by the way guys, i have a question on coolant change.

1) Advisable to drain the coolant from the drain nut or disconnect the whole coolant hose below?

Coolant hose looks pretty difficult to fix back

2) How to remove the coolant reservoir at the side? must lift up tank right?

Theres two type of inner tyre sealant . You can try putoline Auto repair sealant green bottle cost cant remember can get at LAB. Another one is normarly car use foam sealant. But i had use putoline so far ok only when you change tyre your rime will be slimy.

Yes bro greysnail is right open both. Only after open i will drain out the old coolant fix back and do the flush . You can use water hose or water bottle. Start engine for 1- 2 min. And than open again remove water . And fix back put new coolant.

U need to undo the screw near the engine block or u have air trap in ur system
