BBDC's new 2B structure - The Breakdown!

This is the new Class 2B structure drew up by BBDC.

 

Poor future trainees wun b able to start the pracs until defensive theories were cleared n RTT passed. Previously, its stil possible to proceed wif the pracs while waiting for RTT. Somemore, its a well-known fact tat the waits between theory lessons n RTT r killing! So it translates to more waiting n waiting...

 

Imho, i find this structure too rigid n totally a waste of time!

 

1.) Enrollment

2.) Basic Theory Lesson (BTL 1.01 & 1.02)

3.) Riding Theory Lesson (RTL 1.01 & 1.02)

4.) Riding Theory Evaluation (RTE)

5.) Riding Theory Test (RTT)

6.) Orientation 1.01 (Circuit)

7.) Defensive Theory Lesson (PPL 1.01, 1.02 & 1.03)

8.) *Apply For Provsional Driving Licence (PDL)

9.) Practical Stage 1-5 (Circuit)

10.) Completed (PPL & 5.02) with valid PDL

11.) Book Traffic Police Practical Test Date

12.) Practical Stage 6 & 7 (Road)

13.) Practical Stage 8 (Final Evaluation)

14.) *Traffic Police Practical Test (TP)

15.) Apply Qualified Driving Licence (QDL)

16.) Expressway Familiarization Riding (EFR)

wah they keep changing and changing the structure! like that for the new trainees their PDL life would be wasted. what is the point of getting a PDL before lesson 1 when you could only use it in lesson 6.

heard about it recently from a friend who wanted to pick up the hobby but end up complaining to me every now and then about it which I found it weird because I haven't heard about it till now

its not set by them i think. its traffic police new rules. my younger brother at ssdc also must have pdl before any practical (even in circuit)

It is the new rule set by the Traffic Police. The class 3 trainees also have to get PDL before start learning to drive!! Applies to all driving centres.

i just signed up for the course and on the step by step checklist,it states to sign up for pdl, prerequisiteis need to pass rtt AND attend orientation 1.01 (practical)?

so i just booked first practical orientation which is a session before my riding theory lesson 1.01

wondering now if i can go for the slots in this case..

 

also what is for orientation 1.01?

It would be more useful if they have a mandatory defensive riding practical lesson, than to add the additional defensive theory lesson.
