Based on the error message, maybe one or more memory sticks (ie RAM) in your comp may be malfunctioning bro. Run a Memtest or any of your favourite memory testing software to confirm.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but it's a win7 issue I have.

Uploads apparently fail 100% of the time if I try to upload anything above a stupidly small size (say, 100kb). The download will freeze (cease uploading) and hang the browser (every type).

The solution is to get ultimate and use XP Mode to do all the uploading, which is a bit silly.

I have tried looking for solutions online, reinstalled Flash/Java, used various internet security programs (and even tested with no security at all), and no go. Ideas?

could be some virus/trojan.

xp mode uses virtualization, so it's like another pc inside ur pc.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

I would suspect security issues but for the fact the PC behaved this way right out of the shop in Sim Lim where it was built. Had to go back to my office on sunday to upload things as I was doing some satellite imagery terrain generating stuff for a flight sim.
