use to have tat problem wit my speedo too.. but i also dunno y now dun have already... but still facing the problem with my tail light... anyway dun think changing speedo will help coz it's still the same speedo... think the only way is to use silicone... but dun think anyone will do tat coz looks ugly...

for my first one, i did used silicone... it doesnt help... maybe it just the material if the speedometer that let vapour or moist 'seeps' in... i tried putting silicate gel- a small bag that u found whenever u buy shoes or sumtings that can be spoilt by prolong moisture, the bag with small beads in it. it helps abit by absorbing moisture, but dunno for how long...

the inlet below the right handlebar says H2O. what actually should be poured into this hole? coolant or water? if it's for coolant, then where do we add water to the radiator?

sorry ah... my first time on a Runner. got a lot of stupid questions to ask.

everyday i find the sound of 2 stroke engines more and more irritating. *envy the LV pipe people.

think about bro, there are more than enough LV and GPR on 4 strokes around,.....

Now the 2 strokes are the rare ones, you start then pull yr throttle and hear the sound build up.... heavenly ......

but dun do at night where its all quiet lah....

Im sorry to say dat if u nv "feel" b4 how does ur engine work while brand new, sure u wont find any difference even if I describe it to u...

But ther is 1 noticeable tip which the shops taught me..

1) Kick starting ur bike (Able to find out if ur engine is loosing compression)

- If the kick starting process is very "loose" without much feedback during the firing up, engine might be loosing abit of compression.

BUT this provided ur kick start assy is in gd condition, ur tunning is all ok and stuff...thus I feel very hard to judge from it as well..

Sad to say we really hav to strip it out n see the wares then we will know

another newbie question;

i topped my tank to Full. after i rode for around 100km, the indicator still points at Full (without moving a cm). am wondering if the indicator is stucked. but hor, when i turn the engine off, it swings to Empty. so, should i start to worry?

12l tank..9l main + 3l reserve...FC is usually 24-26km/k

ur reserve lights will come on ard 210-220km on the odometer afterwhich u may choose to pump when u c the 240km mark

If this FC is not economical to u then u hav got a wrong bike..buy a Bajar instead
