can some1 tell me how to corner with Gilera 180 sp...

i just gotten my bike , but is totally diff from sport bike....

Isit true that this bike is not stable...i have a box with me too...

When i corner or turning, i notice that my tire will skid...

isit normal or do i have to do something to it, can some1 pls advice

can u all corner at a fast spd...

i am riding a 06 runner... cornering at 90 is still not a problem... but at 120 the handle bar shake like nobody bizness... i used to skid abit at the rear tire when i corner...but after changing to a new set of tires dun seem like having tat problem...

ya... it's totally different... no petrol tank to grip... posture is diffeerent... braking is one hand rather than using legs... dunno about sp180 but runner vxr have main stand... so cannot go lower when cornering... i have difficulties learning my class 2A...

Bro, welcome to the club. Please do not try the same riding style on a runner as you would on your RS125. If possible, try to find the limit of your ride before you ride it aggressively.

the lower u go,the danger will be more.

my point is 50-60 corner is good enough.cause u wont know what happen if u go lower.

I aready say the rs125 is a better machine liao..anyway it will be a long story to explain y the difference in handling between the 2 rides but cornering on the runner is very possible...get used to the bike slowly n learn it is the thing u shld do. dun force urself too much take ur time n learn n ride safe

With regards to ur new bike, our wheels were not meant to do that kinda

heavy corners. Should you not be used to the sitting posture of a runner,

what i can advise you on is to rest your legs on the pillion footrest for

better grip. That might help a little.

lol.. no lah.. i didn't do HIDs. Honestly, white lights are useless as you can't see anything. Only HIDs are powerful enough to be seen on the roads. One set

so guys, hows ur week? just wanna start a stupid topic here... for me, its the same ol shhiiitteee. yesterday was travelling along sle-tpe at 40km/h... so sian but wat to do, military convoy... plans for next week, maybe u may find my bike at kallang for superb servicing... gonna service it from head to toe, tyre to tyre n screw to nuts n wire to wire... act as a 1 yr old ride....

my Runner all of a sudden could not start this morning. not too sure why. was riding ok yesterday and the passed few days... it just gave up on me today. here's what happened...

 

1. started the bike as usual (without throttling). won't start the first time (strange). did a few more starts, still won't start. this goes on for many starts.

 

2. started the bike again (this time with some throttling). won't even start for the first few times. after that, managed to start. played with the throttle and engine doesn't sound correct (but it is running).

 

3. released throttle, engine died. started again (with throttle) and release throttle, engine died. looks like it can't stay idle.

 

so what now? what are the possible causes to my problem? don't want to call the mechanic yet until i more or less know what's happening. btw, fuel is on full. damn strange lah... was riding happily for the whole of yesterday.
