i had an accident while cornereing a few wks ago too.. the question is that now my bike like very sensitive to bumps n cracks on the roads unlike before.. like she scared of the road after she fell down.. but when we accident, i didnt let go off her, therefore absorbing most of the injuries, bike injury only scratched balancer n mirror n abit on the transmission cover.. wat wld the problem b? anyone knows?

Mite be ur fork is slightly bent? Dat time i "buang", the mechanic knocked back the fork and replaced the steering cone.

sad to hear dat...if u had know dat ur bike isnt handling properly u shld hav check it 1st...from the way u describe on how the bike handles, I tink u had a terriblely worn out engine mounting dat causes ur rear engine case n back wheel to b shaking freely

aNYone using maxima coolant or EO on 06/07 VXR200? any comments/review?

Im using Maxima coolant on my 2stroke...It works well but as I had mention before if your bike is not running dat hot, actually normal coolant will be fine n cheaper also.

for Maxima EO, I didnt had the chance to try but feedbacks from some 4stroke riders it was gd n some actually swear by it

knocking back the fork dun seem like a gd idea to me if any of the parts r bended.

Same here. After I skidded for the first time, my bike becomes sensitive to even the slightest change on the road surface, especially if riding on painted markings on the road. If I go around 60km/h, I can feel as if the bike lose traction, and handlebar will tend to turn a bit. Scary, though.

Anyway, does tyres of different makes for the front and rear pose any danger?

different tyres = different compound = different grip.

Try not to mix.

is urs the 06 onwards or the 05? cos 06 runners standard tyres tend not to grip on wet surface.. and mine did develop 'bumps' and cause my ride to be very uncomfortable at times.. changed a new set of gold standard.. solved the prob.

Mine is the old VXR 200 '05. I heard the old model is less stable than the new ones, provided both are stock. Is that true?

not really I think..same same for both aft comparing the pros n cons

But the 05 n older model u can get gd tyres n more parts to choose from
