Is 24-25 km/litre considered OK for totally stock bike? Somehow I felt that something is wrong.

The FC is good...

i am getting abt 19km/L only.. mine is a SP

Mine is VXR 05. How to reach 29km/litre? All that I can think of is change roller weight and wash carb. For other bikes, I heard they need to 'de-carbonise' the exhaust or something like that. But I'm not so sure about that. Does that apply to runners too?

-Thanks

mine is vxr 05. currently having 30 to 33km/litre...

going to average 90 to 110km/hr everyday like tat...

totally stock bike and really loving it man...

planning to change lv pipe and air filter...

but will this affect the fuel consumption?

heard tat changing to aftermarket air filter will improve fc.

is this true?

Wow. So good. What did you do to reach that kind of FC? Care to share?

I'm also using Shell 98 btw. And my VXR 05 just reached 2 years old.

changing of rollers wont help...make sure ur air filter is clean n ur carb had proper settings. N ur riding style also plays a big part
