YES! Definately worth trying Mach Speed. My bike was retrieved by MS 's mech. It was so alive now. I patronized a few scooter shops these 2 days and all those mechs were unable to rectify my tuning problem. They didnt pay attention to de definition of my problem which really pissed me off.

Mach speed did appeared in Motor culture magazine, so i concluded that its pretty much recommended to pay a visit.

Do they tune the jettings of stock carb? Can pm me the price that you paid to tune your carb?

I'm a bit confused about jettings. It seems that most websites that explain how a carb works and its jettings are more towards manual transmission. How can the theory of carb in a manual bike be fitted in the context of auto transmission?

For example, when they state about feeling whether there is a pull from 1/4 to 3/4 throttle, different things are actually happening at the same time in an auto transmission during that period. (Change of gear ratio and increasing of air and fuel into the engine for combustion.) So, in such instances, how do we know which part of the carb that needs to be changed?

answers:

- when u install a switch, it has 3 modes.

1- all on..

2 - pilot on, taillight on, main headlight off.

3 - all of.. except brake light.

these are some of the usual combo i see..

- i sprayed some parts of my scoot. namely undertray, side panel and pillion foot rest. thou cheaper than shop( damn cheap), the side panel began to crack.. the paint i mean. maybe due to heat? not sure. the best place.. go jb if u want cheap paint job... but cannot compare ar to some pro shop..

gd luck!

auto bike dun change gear ratio n the problem is auto bike dun change gears.....whereby a manual bike we can easily tune certain range of ur throttle opening by using the particular gear to ride on n "feel" from it

increasing of air/fuel into the engine is also depending on ur throttle opening...

the basics of wat the webbies teach n write abt is correct on throttle openings...wat is the problem for u now is dat u r unable to "feel" where ur bike is not powerful enuff n need more improvement.

1 simple instrument can help us alot in carb tuning is call the tachco meter aka RPM meter..from there u can c some difference rather than all by "feeling"

if u r trying to improve ur current tuning to suit, u might not know wat is worst wat is better...I will suggest u to take down notes on ur current carb settings then go n mess it up n start all over from there...when everything is in a mess u will be able to tell more of a diff.

May I know ur using a 2T or 4T??

check ur steering cone n both ur suspensions more likely the prob is the steering cone...the steering cone itself cost ard $80 IF I can remember correctly...wif labour charges for installation in might set u back up to $120-140..most scoot shops can do.

but remember dun over tighten ur new steering cone bearings...once season then tighten it slowly when required

I'm using 4T.

if u r tuning the orginal carb of the bike, it is a CV carb..the way it works a slightly different from those usual 2stroke carbs out there or other common carbs being used on 4stroke bikes...

U might like to search up on articles explaining to u on how to tune CV carbs n also some info on ur carb
