Btw guys, i got problem uh. Each time i pump petrol full tank,the fuel gauge doesn't indicate full tank. Sometimes 3/4 tank n sometimes 1/2 tank only.. Yeah... shld be water in your tank... better go and check it out... the mechs will drain everything for u... then u see how much water u have in ur tank...

need to hijack the thread a little.. seems like the x9 thread couldn't give much technical information. hope you guys can help me~ sincere apologises~

 

 

just a little info regarding my bike: FT plate Amalfi. bought it at Albert Motors Bukit Merah. under installment plan for a total of 3.8k. upon receiving the bike, found the fuel meter to be jammed at empty. two days later noticed that the engine oil is leaking. brought back to the shop and left it for a day and they only changed my fuel meter when i reached.. not sure if they changed it though as its acting up again, and it has been only two months.. after the 2 days, left it there for 2 weeks to settle the leakage problem. they say fix, the very day start leaking.. immediately brought to Future Scootering. Found out that multiple parts broken. Spend 2.2k to overhaul engine, transmission and new carb..

 

now for my questions.. hopefully some big brothers can help me answer..

 

1) how much mileage per tank before the reserve light lights up, considering All things new?

2) what is the servicing schedule like for the consumables like belt, plug, EO, and rollers?

3) what is the difference between lighter rollers and heavier rollers?

4) what is the weight of original rollers?

5) if the top speed is up till 130km/h and the maximum rpm is 9k, wouldn't it be better if i set the transmission as such that i get the highest possible speed at lowest rpm?

 

 

i know the various answers are all over SBF but the search for the required information did not really provide the required answer. i'll be very thankfull for anyone who can help me with the answers. thank you for your time.

Dunno much about X9 but i try to help... LoL...

 

1) X9 mileage i dunno... Sorry...

2) Servicing schedule... For EO, better to change once a month... but if u prefer, once in two months... for belt and rollers, it's the mileage... i dunno how much it is for X9... but mine i change every 12,000km... roughly around there... or when i got money... LoL...

3) Lighter rollers enable a faster pickup... heavier rollers allows you to cruise better on the expressway...

4) I dunno what is the original weight of an X9 roller.

5) this one muz ask the mechanics liao... i not good @ this... LoL...

 

Bear in mind that i am riding a Runner and i dunno much about X9... LoL... juz trying to help. It'd be better if you go down to workshops such as tai hin, sunrise or future scootering to assist you with your questions. Try not to go to normal bike workshops as their knowledge about scooters is not as good as those specialized scooter workshops. (this one personally experienced before)

Hi all , i am getting a runner soon in the end of this month , but i would like to know wat the different between a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke runner ? and also 05 runner better or 06 ? sorry i kinda noob.

jus do my first full service.. and heard that the my rear round metal shouldn't be beside of the bearing side.. make the bearing spoil and the metal plate nut that connected in the middle.. izzit agent fault? but luckily they help to do everything..

bike shud have normal wear n tear..tats for sure...and the way u ride ur bike is 1 major factor too...all i can say..gilera is an affordable bike to own..cheers mate..
