i see... hmmm~ well i tink when i get my X9 i'll seek for tips from you guys~ btw~ what is the lifespend for the belt? i heard it's quite easy 2 spoil~ and btw how much is a gd quality belt which can last me long? that's alot of queries running through my head... hope to learn more from all fellow X9ers here...

Personally i would say it depend to rider. There's rider using Original belt travel until 28,000km, there's rider using Original Belt Break @ 4,000km.

It all depend how the rider ride and ofcourse modification added on may cause faster wear and tear too :smile:

Hi sagti,

just a question to ask?? Is all this belt shown from the same scooter and same rider? If not it will not be a fair comparison of belt :sian:

How the comparison was done;

5 samples of each belts were taken out from 15 different bikes with the same engine and make (piaggio or gilera). Those belts tat taken out where shown to the various owner, so most of the rider know the belt they use are good or bad. :smile:

if tis method is not fair enough, can anyone suggest a better way? :sweat:

But end of the day,i still believe in if you really take good care of it,it should not give you much problem..i've encountered someone rode this bike for years but still no major faults like water pump,coil etc..but the effort he put in taking care of it is really remarkable.:smile:
