Hi there! I need your help on my brake pads. Original Piaggio once cost $40 and find it too expensive. Can you recommend any replacement brand, how much and where to get it as well. If I get the replacement once will it be as better or will it be far inferior compared to the genuine Piaggio? I am not from Singapore and is currently here for a vacation. Address and contact numbers will be of big help. TIA!

u can try EBC brake pad..should be cheaper,most workshop should have this.

Enquiry, understand that bike coming to 3 yrs old starts to have alot of prob. Just checking can cone be repaired, (handling wise very loose and producing noise when riding) if not how much does it usually cost to change one? Or any chances of fork spoil? Would appreciate if anyone can enlighten me . THX

and what is the cost.

Otherwise, is it true that I can only get a replacement from the dealer ?

i dont have this problem. something is happening in ur gearbox perhaps? better go to workshop asap to check as this is not normal.

Here's an update to this problem which I had stated before. Here's the real reason that was found after some extensive investigation.

Battery had dislodged itself due to the expansion of the rubber belt that was holding it down. It had lodged itself in a strange 45% angle and was resting on the wire of the R indicator. Which over time frayed it and disconnected the signal. After reconnecting the cable and putting the battery back, everything was back to normal.

The rubber strap holding the battery now has an additional piece of sponge to hold down the battery more securely, thus preventinig it from recurring again.

Hope other x9ers would benefit from this info, if it every happens to them.

 

Now, onto another query, as my x9 is a 250 (Honda Engine), I'm thinking of 2 things:

1. Leo Vince exhaust system for this bike (is it avail?)

2. New performance shocks - possible to get these?
