update update... bike still cannot discharge from "hospital"... sianz... means another day of contributions to taxi. had the magnetic coil changed, now testing the charging system and handlebar alignment.

sigh... but guess its better they take time to do a complete job :weep:

feedback from boon siew:

* they do not recommend mods/enhancements to the bike (e.g. electric horn, PA2, grounding, etc), at least not within warranty period... could void warranty

* all authorised bike dealers (e.g. looi's, mah, etc) are issued with special stamp, we should have our warranty card stamped when we do servicing

paithorn, pls refer to post #5542 for the pic :)

thanks bro

BTW, check with you guys when you start up your bikes each morning, is it just started up or got to twist the throttle1-2 mm?

Also does your RPM needle "wander" a little (100-200RPM diff)? Even after engine is warmed up?

thanks bro

Dun twist the throttle!

Heard from friend that as SW is fuel injection, prolong period of twisting the throttle would spoil some internal parts of the scoot. The problem is i dun even know which part.. haha

Any bros can verify?

Btw, l lost contact with that friend liao.

Looks like your bike have the same prob as mine.

How do they know that its the battery prob or the coil prob?

Clutch in the press the start button will do. No need to throttle.

RPM needle wander a bit should be ok, I believe you did not fiddle with the idling screw.

Mine do wander a bit

thats because your auto-choke is working. after the auto-choke switch off, it shouldn't wander le. if it does, that means its time to sync your bike.

Can it be RPM needle loose? As my previous scooter RPM will wander a bit at low RPM, but when higher rev, it looks stable. Although at low RPM, the engine sound okie, nothing different when needle wander.

boon siew brings in only euro FJS lately... don't think you can get new JDM unless parallel imports (but don't think any shop is doing that now)

Sent my SW back to Mah and the "RPM wander" problem was fixed in an hour. It is the "eductor" place wasn't fitted properly....

So now, I need no longer turn the throttle slightly to start up and the RPM no longer wander regardless of suto choke off or on.

Thanks for the advice guys.

Must check how long the tires can last. Arboh later every half year change rear tire how?

Some other forums said Pirelli's Diablo Scooter and GTS 23 / GTS 24 are good too.

Wonder available in SG or not? If have, maybe somebody can give it a try.
