so i do not really recommend that. the good side for KNN is that you can wash it. however it take 1 day to dry unless you uses the air compressor to dry it which is not recommended.

as for silverwing it is using gel battery so need to find those that can charge gel type.

i might be going down to limbatt and charge the battery.

there are charging at 2dollars.

after changing your oil, start your bike for a while allowing the oil to run, stop the engine, let it rest for an hour, then check your engine oil level via the provided dip-stick or see-through glass panel. see whether oil enough or not. to me, the shop has done enough Silverwings to justify why the need to add 100ml more. your manuel is just a guide.

 

1 example. had a Burgman 650. bought brand new. using the above method, every time check the engine oil level after changing, always at min level. have to add 150 - 200ml then can bearly reach the top level.

 

BTW, I have checked over many days.... for SW, 2.2 litres EO is the way to go.... it is exactly on the the max line if you fill in 2.2 litres with filter change....

Thot you just went for a ride near Ipoh over the weekend? Battery shd be fully charged.... if low batt symtom, better get it replaced(like me-Batt replaced after 6000km only)

anyway found a silverwing from a seller. he willing to accept deposit and subsequent by installment for 6 months. after which, 6 months later will do transfer. he will add me as sub - rider, what document should i get to safe guard myself??

actually my battery is still ok but at time i do have the second set-up. i think i it mainly due to weak battery.

 

anyway was told it would be good to charge your battery once a year.

 

would be dropping by to limbat shop to charge since it would only cost 2 dollars. when the charger would cost me 70 dollars.

tat was exactly my thinking of the batt shd be charged fully after long and touring speed ride but i still noticed the self-diagnostic twice. when i was there, the frequency of the off-and-on the engine is quite often such as take scenery pics and petrol refill. Yday i started the bike no more liao. any need to charge the batt?

 

btw, uploaded the pics.

especially for short ride.

 

the cheapest solution is to charge the battery using a charger if it still have the problem i guess need to replace the battery
