I think my SW is decent enough for me to go for light touring which I dun see the need for any performance parts at the moment. Probably just doing some fine tuning here and there (if needed) and regular maintenance/servicing is good enough for me.

if you are going for touring than just change the windshield can liao

the engine is good enough to pull you and your pillion up about 45degree slope and able to run 140km/h all the way from singapore to aniwhere of course by 2up

I've finally made full use of the "Mode" button during my trip to Cameron last wkend. It's sure useful, gives my SW more torque when it's slowly "climbing" up the slope and overtake slower vehicles in front of me... Btw, mine's the JDM model...

Simply press it with your thumb, or you can use any of your fingers if you want to, but try not to use your right hand cuz you'll need to hold your throttle...

 

Ok lah, jokes aside, anyway, for those who have never seen a JDM model before, I have 2 pictures below which shows what it has which you don't get to see on the Euro ones:

Tested by some whom take silverwing to thailand, songkran. Me personally take it to cameron highlands and NSH riding is good cause of the windshield blocking the wind away from the face and body. and when it comes to riding up and down the cameron highlands mountains, you can whack the corners till scratch the main stand.
