Any idea what are the available weights we can get at the moment?

For SW400cc, I have changed to the 22g ones (Honda original) and it is running very well since yesterday (100 is not a problem). The previous one should be around ~28g which is too heavy and the bike sounded like someone choking.

:)

I have fixed the hazzard lights switch too, cost me $15 for this. :thumb:

So you're using the lighter ones, which means better pickup if I'm not wrong... :cheeky:

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

Many places have it. Future and the shop opposite carry it. Try asking for the best price. :)

Yap. The lighter ones as recommended by the shop owner.

If the top speed has been reduced from 160 to 140, I am still happy with it...:cheeky: cause I don't travel so fast....

I dun think it'll drop that much... anyway, I wonder if the roller weights can mix and match since they are the same size and shape, that is, 4 heavy + 4 light ones. Perhaps this way might gain moderate pickup and top end... But then we might not know if there will be any "side effects" not... :D

I will try but provided I've enough confidence that it won't incur any "side effects", but then, I won't know when cuz my current set of rollers juz been used for 4000++km, still got a lot more before the nx change... :cheeky:

Well, for my Burgman, I've been on 'mixed' weight rollers, so far no side effects!

So far for me, it's working fine, I commute in S'pore only, rollers last well.

I mixed 4 x 15grams and 4 x 20grams, gives me the acceleration which I am satisfied with.

Cuz I used to hv Polini's variator set on my previous ride and I did play around with the weights of the rollers too, that's how it came to my mind on playing around with roller weights on SW's stock variator... Not sure whether it is advisable to do so not since it also hv different set of weights for the rollers...

Tough lei... ppl in here has many reason riding scoot, one of the common one is same as yours, others go for comfort, storage and the fun of "auto".

Maybe you wanna try trading in your bike with bikeshop for a new one? :cheeky:

I second that. :thumb:

Just so much more comfortable than previous ride and you have minimal disturbance from rain, especially wetting the shoes/boots.

Hi undead,

Ur Swing is Euro version rite?

So, stock roller for SW euro is 28g....

Hmm... Then the 22g rollers that are from Honda is for actually designed for which bike one?

Errr... good question. I have changed to Polini Variator that comes with 28g.... This appears to be too heavy and more suitable for 600cc SW; I have been asked to use back the 22g roller for better pick up and it has work much better now.

Better performance would also mean higher wear and tear rate, remember to check your rollers if you find that your bike is not performing as per normal... :cheeky:
