Different brands got different size chart, but usually new helmets tends to fit tighter at first due to the new cushion.

Tight is a norm for new FF helmets. However, if it's too tight that is causes discomfort or give you headache, probably the size is wrong.

Check the size chart for that model. Better still, try on different size FF helmet.

It's always useful to look up the helmet manufacturer's website and download a size chart. The padding fitting between different manufacturers' helmets, and the "roundness" of the helmet differs between different brands.

It's also normal, as aforesaid, for a FF to feel more claustrophobic than an open helmet but this feeling should go away with time once you get used to it. Or else... just get one a size bigger.

its better to 'run in' your FF. after a while, u should feel better. also, different brands of FF different 'cutting'. same like t shirts. u need to get something that is suitable for yourself.

I have tried AGV, ARAI, SHOEI, HJC, OGK. so far, SHOEI fits me the best. yearning to own a SHARK or SUOMY someday :D

worth while to mention different brands also got different models. some may fit u better. but its a costly process just to see which one fits u best.. coz even if u r allowed to try the helmet in the shop, that 1 to 2 mins of trying can only help u this much.

No more regrets.

Just want to share my views. Different manufacturer make the cushion differently. European brands are not suitable for Asian ppl. For all I know shoei & Aria are design for asian head size. I suggest you put on the hlemet for 10-15mins before buying. if it doesn't give you a headache, then it is the size you are looking for.

Arai produce different shell shapes for different markets - Asian, North American, and European.

They also have different thickness of cheekpads for user to customise the fit.

FF are meant to be fitting..

wear it ard the shop for 10-15mins..

make sure no headaches or the eyes turning reddish.

shoei cushions will tend to soften over time therefore become 'loose'

the better brands can change the thickness of the cushion for a better fit.

shoei shld fit best for asian heads..

no matter what people say, you MUST try out helmet for yourself bcos your headshape is different from others....even 1 shoei model can fit very differently from another shoei model.
