yes thats the rs959 carbon fibre look-alike. cost abt 100. plain colors going for 60+ around there.. it also resembles an arai open face model.

i get ard 40. yes at lab. design same as the rs959 n the helmet shell looks smaller than most helmet shell.

if u prefer front face air like the arai visor inlet...then only Arai can !

 

but if it the rear head hot air outlet portion..then the shoei X-11 are sligthly better then the RX7 rear air outlet.

 

but.....X-11 is 100g heavy then RX7.....and RX7 has fellen rubber lining issue.

 

thats left with the Ti Tech....but it folds ur ear.

 

so it up to each own lor.

 

*only own RX7 & X-11.Ti tech were base on trying on in the shop.

ur head will feel warm when wearing a normal helmet w/o vents.yeah?

 

rear head means the behind part of ur head lor.

 

front face air....refer to the amount of fresh air blowing at ur face while in motion.

 

*assume FF helmet with visor full close/seal.

true enuff, the ti-tech folds ear which set u back for everyday riding..

i blive an x-11 even thou only 100g, which pretty much nt a big diff wld be value for money compare to the rx-7..

further more, shoei has better designs..

it a close fight between the Ti-Tech & X-11 when i planning to replace my RX7 last mth.

 

build quality -

shoei - hyrid form material( aka AiM ) 1 form with dual dense compond(sounds like Pilot power 2CT..lolz)

Ti tech - two part material form (two different dense compond)

 

light weight -

Ti Tech(1400g)*label inside helmet stated

X-11 (1525g)*internet web info

 

design -

Ti Tech (front mouth piece area bigger-may rub shoulder when turn head) front wind protection better?

X-11 (Air vent system) cool head then can ride cool.no?

Ti Tech - Rossi cant be wrong but he didnt do it for FREE too.so is consumer paying into rossi's wallet?

Shoei - usual japs standard and a brand that produces quality product(beside ARAI) way b4 AGV "improve" it own product line till recent years only(read: 2~3yes ago).

 

 

end of day...i pick X-11 not because it cheaper but the mere fact that i like my ear to be what it was intended to be & not some fold away usless accessorys.

 

air mesh may make my hair drop more....which i not actually have "alot" left.so it out for me.

no 1st hand owning those brand.

 

but in general,pick the one which is lighter & nicer graphic.

 

noise level for both could be close.sae the HJC Cl-11 at motorworld.looks good yet reasonable price...but the weight is "feel-able"...which may be quite "neck-tiring" if on long period useage aka touring/travelling/depatch job.
