a little out of point here but I was just wondering if the try sell option works? Haha because there was some last minute changes and I won't be able to make it for my prac 2 lesson on monday. the 10.30 slot. Don't want to burn my $$ heh

In my experience... No. I only tried it twice lah, I must say, but both times the TrySell was unsuccessful for me. I guess it all depends on how much "advance notice" you give also lah...

then always then i warm up engine, alot of smoke.

i wan lower the 2t setting so that the 2t wont use up so fast.

 

he said the 2t need to be change every 2 weeks, which i think is very little, normally is around 1 mth then change right ?

very easy go mech... the ask them to help...

i done my full service in JB their svcing not bad.. i also bought 2t. new pillan foot rest... and some other assessory for RM240

 

Anyway, FYI, u should not use the time frame to gauge when to refill 2t. U should gauge the distance traveled by that bottle of 2t so that you'll know how far your 2t can last/travel.

 

ur ex owner top up 2t every 2wks might be because he always travel, and now u just got ur bike, u also cannot confirm how much distance u'll be travelling for normal basic daily needs. so i suggest that u wait for a while before u change ur settings.

he might be topping 2t once every 2wks, but who knows that u are able to last it for 3wks-1month?

 

but what u said is also correct... his settings is above average(at least he honestly tells u)

For eg for me. using the premix guideline. 20ml 2t for 1l petrol.

 

i everyday travel 140km. my fc is 18km/l. so everyday i use about 8litres.

 

so per day is 160ml of 2t.

 

so it depends on usage instead of time!

yep try sell was unsuccessful for me. I made it for the lesson anyway, although late. Failed my prac 2. Crank course and figure of 8 giving me problems >_<. slope was fine though.>

haha... not really la... just that before i officially rode my bike, i alrdy know liao...

 

hmmm buy normal 2t can already no need too good / bad..

 

good: too thick will cause.... er... suddenly forget the reason...

 

bad: those 2t that has fragrance like strawberry flav, cheery flav, Florance flav.... nv ever buy those that has nice smell... the quality is very bad...

i had a guy to help me test the strawberry flav, his bike was vibrating very strongly, not smooth super duper rough when he was using the strawberry 2t that i wanted to try out. ...

 

he thought that his corn rod(dunno how to spell) spoil.... and went to check with mech.... but nothing went wrong... he supsect it was the 2t....

 

i met him 2wks later, the 2t was almost used up, so he pour another brand of 2t to refill... after about 10 mins of idling, the bike become better... more smooth, less vibration

She currently using penzoil marine, semi syn 2t.

Just use a normal 2t from petrol station good enough..

 

Use too thick 2t and dun whack enough u end up with carbon all over ur pistons , exhaust and pipes. jam up ur valve and all that ****..

 

Morale of story, if u use good 2t make sure u ride faster..

 

For pricing, depending on wat u buy.. 12rm to 50+rm also have.

If i everyday ride for 1 month then i must keep topping up 2t..

if i 1 whole month only ride 1 day then my 2t can last for 1 year.

 

Unless ur freqency of riding is consistant , dun use time to measure.

My sp used to top up 1L of 2t for every 800km

does petrol station sell the 2t all no name one ? they judge by pricing or name ?

 

cause i heard from people wad, buy motul from bike shop...

and wht does ur normal 2t falls under? those 12.50$ ones or those 20$ ++ one?
